The museum's collections are magnificent. It told that the prehistoric community existed in Gilimanuk were quite advanced; they believed in spiritual world, life after death, and they even traded internationally. Many artifacts are still intact and in good condition. The guides are insightful and friendly. The museum building is also an art in itself; very beautiful.

Amazing experience here. I met someone who are in charge of the place who also happened to be in excavation team back when they discovered the site. The guy explained very well and guide me through all the museum. Sadly this museum need more attention as it's important ancient history and not much people visiting it. Once people knew there are civilization buried beneath this port city 4000 years ago, they will never see Gilimanuk the same way again.

This museum needs more attention. Its such an interesting place to find more about ancient human life and what kind of tools, jewelry and lots of stuff they used. This is the real archeological site where they found the fossil. Its quite hot though..

Small museum with a very specific focus on the ancient burial site uncovered here. Little-promoted so little-visited, but the officer in charge makes visitors feel very welcome and tell a lot about the exhibits.
