Widya and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming. Their place is so peaceful, and we had such a lovely time there. They were always happy to help, share advice, and make us feel welcome. I really recommend this experience if you’re looking for an authentic and enriching activity where you can discover a little more about Balinese culture in such a peaceful setting. We absolutely loved our time there and would definitely come back 🧡
View on GoogleVery unique experience! Widya and his family run the business, and they’re always around to assist whenever you need help. I’m really happy to have had this journey during my visit this time and would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s hesitating. I traveled solo and still had heaps of fun, but I also noticed groups of friends, couples, and families all having a great time too.
View on GoogleThis is our second trip to Bali and we stayed about a month each trip. We’ve done a lot of different things, from surfing lessons to Mt Batur, waterfalls to purification ceremonies. This was my favorite experience. The staff is friendly, and always available to help. When I could not apply the hot wax without dripping, they took over so my finished product would still look good. I’m about as inept an artist as they come, but I’m proud of my batik.
View on GoogleSuch a fun and relaxing experience. The artists give good, clear instructions and help every step of the way. I was so pleasantly surprised how my chosen piece turned out. Highly recommended activity!
View on GoogleMy daughter, granddaughter (10 years) and I went to a batik class here. It was superb in every respect. We all loved it and produced exquisite results. It’s a beautiful, peaceful activity and we received just as much assistance as we wanted. Some of us required a bit of help, but my granddaughter wanted to do it all alone and still produced a wonderful piece. I created my own design but there are masses of great stencils available. We all absolutely loved it and are so proud of our finished pieces. The teacher and assistants are all excellent and quietly helpful (and they discreetly fix up your wax mistakes while you’re doing something else). I would return to Bali just for another of these classes! In fact, I almost certainly will.
