This is a well-known place to try coconut ice cream in Ubud. They have few branches in Ubud, and we tried this one in Monkey Forest street. The coconut ice cream tastes great, and the quality remains consistent across the different stores. The place is aesthetically pleasing, with cozy semi-indoor spaces and beautifully designed interiors. We tried a variety of their coconut ice cream menus, and our favourite was the half coconut with coconut ice cream. It tastes absolutely delicious, as the sweet ice cream paired really well with the savoury coconut. The coconut crisp also adds a nice flavour and texture, which elevates the whole dish. The wafer roll one was also good. The chocolate cake one has nice flavours and texture, and the chocolate paired really well with the coconut, although we thought the cake was slightly dry. Overall, a great place for coconut ice cream in Ubud!
View on GoogleIf you like coconut you will love their ice cream. If you love coconut you will quite literally lose your mind over it. It’s incredible and it’s been consistently incredible over the years when we’ve been in Bali. Highly recommended
View on GoogleThis Tukies location is much more spacious than the other one in Ubud, so it feels much more comfortable and you don’t feel cramped. The tables were also clean, which made for a more pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t as good as at the other location. The staff didn’t seem very customer-focused and appeared to be more interested in chatting with each other. They were talking quite loudly behind the counter, which came across as a bit unprofessional. I also tried the chocolate cake. Afterwards, I experienced an upset stomach, although I can’t say for certain whether it was caused by the cake or something else. Overall, I preferred the atmosphere and cleanliness of this location, but the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff at the other Tukies branch made for a better overall experience.
View on GoogleThe most amazing coconut ice cream joint in Ubud! Never fails to impress even though this is my 4th time returning. Their standard coconut ice cream is topped with roasted coconut flakes that adds superb crunch giving even more mouthfeel! Ice cream is not overly sweeten by sugar and you definitely can taste that authentic natural coconut flavor. We've ordered double scoops for both variations and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
View on GoogleQuick dessert stop at Tukies near Monkey Forest, and it didn’t disappoint. 🥥 The coconut ice cream was super creamy, not too sweet, and the toasted coconut flakes made it even better. Loved the one served in a fresh coconut, and the affogato was surprisingly so good too. Perfect spot to cool down after walking around Ubud. Would definitely come back! 🌴🍦
