Tall Trees elevates the afternoon and evening dining experience at The Westin Ubud into something truly magical. Situated on the first floor right alongside the resort’s iconic infinity pool, this boutique, 34-seat open-air restaurant feels like a private deck suspended directly over the lush tropical forest and rushing river below. The atmosphere here is an absolute dream. By day, it’s a breezy, relaxed poolside retreat where you can hear the natural sounds of the jungle. By night, it transforms into an incredibly romantic, candlelit sanctuary. Because of its intimate seating capacity, it never feels overcrowded, allowing for a peaceful, deeply relaxing meal. The culinary identity of Tall Trees is built around a traditional wood-burning oven and slow-roasting methods, focusing on Mediterranean-inspired dishes seamlessly adapted to Westin’s "Eat Well" philosophy. The Artisanal Wood-Fired Menu: The smoky, rustic flavors from the wood oven are the undisputed star here. Their signature Pinza (the ancient, long-fermented ancestor to modern pizza) features an incredibly light, airy, and crisp crust that is a must-try. Immaculate Starters & Grills: For something light yet intensely flavorful, the wild mushroom cappuccino soup and the perfectly balanced burrata salad are phenomenal starting points. The main grills—ranging from tender, aromatic lamb kofta infused with warm spices to fresh, beautifully seasoned seafood skewers—showcase a brilliant understanding of flavor and fire. Thoughtful Plant-Based & Custom Options: True to the wellness ethos of the property, the menu integrates vibrant, creative vegan and vegetarian options that don’t compromise on flavor. The kitchen team is exceptionally accommodating, happy to tweak dishes to meet clean-eating or dietary needs without missing a beat. Tall Trees successfully bridges the gap between high-end Mediterranean execution and the raw, tranquil magic of Bali’s landscape. It is on the pricier side for the area, but the spectacular jungle-canopy views, the intimacy of the space, and the stellar wood-fired cuisine completely justify the premium. Tall Trees has a scenic view of the pool, restaurant, outside patio seating with delicious Mediterranean dishes. Amidst the greenery you can have a quite romantic dinner. #TallTrees #Ubud #Bali #Westin

We had a wonderful dining experience at Tall Trees during our stay at The Westin Ubud. The food was exceptional, especially the Spanish meatballs, which were full of flavor and easily one of the highlights of our visit. The chicken we ordered was also beautifully presented, adding to the overall experience. What truly made the evening memorable, though, was the hospitality. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and the team went above and beyond to make us feel special, including treating us to complimentary drinks, which was a lovely touch. A special mention to Chintya, whose outstanding service, warm attitude, and attention to detail made our night even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for both the quality of the food and the genuinely caring service.

It was a truly wonderful vacation for our family The hotel room was very clean and quiet, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We enjoyed the various activities, and the food was delicious. The hotel's location in the jungle in the heart of Ubud made our time in nature truly special. If you're visiting Ubud, I highly recommend the Westin Ubud! And Ariawan, the staff member, was also wonderful. He always greeted us with a smile, was kind, and took great care of us, making for a truly special memory Thank you

A true fine dining experience. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We got the burrata salad and lamb kofta to start. The kofta was phenomenal. It was cooked with a cinnamon stick which added a ton of flavour. We also got the ribeye steak, truffle mashed potato and the meat skewers. The chicken skewers were very juicy and tender but the meat was a bit overcooked. The steak was good but not excellent. Some party’s were a bit chewy but overall it was a great experience!
