A Great Dining Experience in Ubud We had several meals at KauKau Restaurant during our stay, and every visit was enjoyable. The menu offers a nice variety of local Balinese dishes and international options, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. One of the highlights was the floating breakfast, which made the morning feel extra special. We also loved trying the Balinese specialties they tasted authentic and were cooked with great attention to detail. The desserts were a perfect way to end the meal. The restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere overlooking the greenery, and the staff were always warm, friendly, and attentive. Overall, KauKau Restaurant made our stay at Akamara Dijiwa even more memorable. Highly recommended if you’re looking for delicious food and genuine Balinese hospitality.

Dining at Kaukau Restaurant was easily one of the highlights of my stay. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can really tell how much care goes into every plate. But what made the experience even more special was the people. The team was so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is just as lovely as the food. Surrounded by greenery and such a peaceful setting, it’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down and enjoy every moment. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Ubud.

Lovely little spot hidden away from the chaos. If you spend over 500k you can use the hotel pool, and the food is great! Surrounded by jungle it’s really quiet, and a lovely place to spend the afternoon. I’ve been here a couple of times and the staff are amazing and recognised me after my first visit. There’s also a rooftop bar Juggan sky, which is nice but for a swim and a casual meal I love KauKau and will be back. I had the steak with truffle mash, absolutely mouthwatering.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Akaramara and were so impressed by the wonderful team at KauKau Restaurant. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive, always making sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to help us find the best options for travelling around Ubud and Bali, which made our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. I had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners at Kaukau. The portions at breakfast were so large I could not eat lunch! The chefs here are so talented. I have never eaten such beautiful, flavourful meals anywhere. There is a good mix of authentic Asian cuisine and western food. And the serving staff are so attentive and kind. Especially the newest hostess, I am ashamed I didn’t get the spelling of her name to add here, was so helpful. The atmosphere next to the beautiful pool is beyond compare. I can’t recommend this restaurant and the Arkamara Dijiwah resort enough!!!!
