The food was amazing. In a town filled with generic "healthy food" and overly westernized spots, this felt like an authentic gem. I’m sure I’ll be back, so I’ll add photos next time! Edit: I came back the next day 😅

This is a must try in Ubud. Real local food, so tasty!!! The place has a great local atmosphere and the service is the best we have experienced in Ubud. The owner is very creative with the food, tries to add something little extra and makes you feel like home. If you are in Ubud, you MUST try this place. Thank you so much! ❤️

If you are looking for friendly place with great atmosphere and even better food this is the place! Family Warung Dessert. Also it is for a very low price comparing to others restaurants. Whole family are great people with very positive vibes. Visit this place! Once is not enough.

If you’re looking for a truly authentic Indonesian experience, this little family-run warung is something special. The food is absolutely delicious—full of flavour, made fresh, and clearly made with love using traditional recipes. What really makes it stand out though is the family behind it. They are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

I genuinely wanted to support this local warung especially this one has many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was quite different. The rice was so dry it certainly had been sitting for a while, and the ayam bakar wasn’t grilled —it is a braised chicken leg covered in sauce. The service felt rather indifferent and there were quite a few flies buzzing. In combination of the quality of the food - it just didn’t match the positive reviews. I know how delicious and flavorful Balinese food can be, so I hope visitors also get to discover the many wonderful local warungs nearby.
