The view is absolutely wow-worthy. We arrived just as the sun was setting over the fields, and it was absolutely stunning. We were seated beside the Ayung River, which created such an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, very zen and perfect for a relaxed evening. We had the herb butter scallops, yellow-fin crab tower, wagyu two ways, and nasi goreng. The food was beautifully presented, with the wagyu being a standout. A lovely dining experience in a breathtaking setting.

From the very first message on WhatsApp, Komang was incredibly kind, responsive, and understanding. We arrived quite late, around 9:30 PM, yet everything was handled with such professionalism and warmth that we immediately felt welcomed. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was simply flawless. The team welcomed us beautifully, guided us through everything, and the setup of the 100 candles dinner was absolutely breathtaking truly perfect in every detail. Komang personally made sure everything was special, even taking care of our photos and making us feel completely at ease. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Every member of the staff was attentive, elegant, and perfectly coordinated. And the food… absolutely outstanding a true fine dining experience that exceeded all expectations. This was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. Everything , before, during, and after our arrival ,was handled to perfection. Highly, highly recommended. We booked a table at the restaurant for dinner on Christmas Eve. Finding somewhere in Ubud that had a reasonable menu was pretty tough. Even the hotel two properties down from us was boasting a Christmas menu that was, quite frankly, a joke. Then I discovered the advertisement online for the Swept Away Restaurant Christmas Dinner at the Samaya. As we live on the other side of Ubud it took over an hour to get to the Samaya but when we arrived we were stunned at how beautiful the resort is. This property is stunning and it is a beautiful reminder of the Ubud of old with lush tropical jungle still present, stunning gardens and more. The ride in the golf cart from the lobby to the restaurant was fabulous. The Swept Away Restaurant sits on the edge of the river and it really has that wow factor. The staff here are amazing, we've never experienced anything like it. They could not be more friendly, courteous or helpful. Stunning location, amazing staff and the food? Exquisite! A wonderful fine dining experience for Christmas and most importantly for us, we didn't go away hungry! We had an absolutely amazing time and it made our Christmas very special. My partner and I only get to spend Christmas together every three years and we were absolutely swept away by this dining experience. It was the best Christmas we've ever had in Indonesia, all thanks to this wonderful restaurant, beautiful location and incredible staff.

We had the most amazing dinner experience in The Swept Away Restaurant. From the moment we stepped into the setting of a 100-candle romantic dinner, the atmosphere felt truly magical. We enjoyed a six-course menu with wine pairing, and each course was simply perfect... beautifully presented, thoughtfully balanced and full of incredible flavours. The service was impeccable, warm and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Their remarkable attention to detail elevated the entire evening, making it feel personal and unforgettable. It was, without a doubt, the highlight of our honeymoon and an experience we will cherish for years to come 😊

We booked the riverside restaurant experience with 7-course meal. Location was fabulous and they had put so many candles around the river it felt magical! Highly recommend to have a romantic dinner here!
