Our favorite restaurant in Ubud! The food was so beautiful & delicious- we went there 3 nights! There is so much variety: one night we had Indonesian dishes, then the protein bowl & pizza & finally the Balifornia roll (delicious!) & the Pad Thai. Plus the lemon / orange cake & the lava cake (twice - it’s sooo good). We usually arrived around 5:30 & always got a table for 2 at the balcony. The service was nice & very attentive. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleEverything was perfect! The Vegan food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were attentive and kind. Congratulations to everyone! A special thank you to Augus and Bugy, who were the people who looked after us the most, but also to the girls working in the dessert area. Everyone was wonderful! Whenever we come back to Ubud, we will definitely visit again. Jean & Miki 💚
View on GooglePlant Bistro has become my favorite restaurant in Ubud! The food is absolutely incredible, and the Nasi Campur is hands down my favorite meal I’ve had anywhere in Ubud. Every ingredient is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is something special. The restaurant has a peaceful, tropical ambiance that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours relaxing. What really sets Plant Bistro apart, though, is the people. The manager took the time to sit and talk with me, making me feel genuinely welcomed. That kindness and hospitality made the experience even more memorable. If you’re visiting Ubud—especially if you’re looking for amazing plant-based food—Plant Bistro is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back many more times during my stay in Bali.
View on GoogleThis place is SO GOOD!! We have been here twice. Once for dinner and cocktails and once for breakfast. Both times the servers were so lovely and the food was top tier! Plus the vibe of the place was amazing with plants everywhere. Our server Adi was the best. You need to try this place 🫶🏻
View on GoogleWe visited Plant Bistro Ubud for our first-ever experience at a vegan restaurant, and overall it was a bit of a mixed experience. First impressions were incredibly strong — the atmosphere, styling, and elevated setting are absolutely beautiful. It’s a really well-designed space with a great view, and even the presentation of the staff added to that polished, upmarket feel. When it came to the food, it absolutely delivered. The pizza and pasta were phenomenal — genuinely some of the best we had during our time in Bali. The drinks were also excellent and clearly well thought out. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the standard set by the food and venue. When we asked for the dessert menu, it never arrived and we had to follow up after about 20 minutes. The bigger issue came when my wife accidentally knocked over her espresso martini before even getting to try it. While the glass was cleared, we weren’t offered a replacement and were simply told 'we wouldn’t be charged for the glass' - however, when coming to paying for the meal we were still charged for the drink itself. To make matters worse, the spilled drink was left on the floor for the remainder of our stay without being cleaned up. At this price point and given the otherwise premium experience, that level of service felt quite out of step. Overall, the food and setting are exceptional but the service — particularly how situations like this are handled — left us disappointed with the experience.
