This was one of the best meals in Bali during our trip to Ubud. This is more than just a restaurant with good food, but the one that gives you a memorable experience you’ll never forget. Their menu options are not as plenty, but that’s what made it truly special as each and every 1 of them are well executed! The staff here are friendly, professional, and informative, and gave us good recommendations to choose from the menu, while also ensuring it meets our dietary requirements. Top notch hospitality from start to finish! The place has a very nice ambience, with semi-indoor seatings, with warm interiors, with nice views, especially during the evening. There is live music at night, which elevates the overall vibes. But the highlight was definitely the foods. From appetizer to dessert, each of them are well made. The appetizers were definitely the highlight, especially the woodfired bread, simple yet one of the best tasting dishes. The charred bell peppers were also great, with nice smoky flavours from the bell peppers, paired with creamy cashew cream, and we like the addition of crunch from the sourdough. The smoked burrata and octopus was also a great one, each of them have exceptional flavours, and different textures that blend in harmony. For the mains, each of them are well executed and made our dinner memorable, and finessing more of the details would elevate the overall experience. The best part was the charcoal barramundi, with perfectly cooked fish, and the sauce made it special that we couldn’t forget. The duck frites was also our favourite, with crispy and tender duck, and the sauce paired really well with it. The barbequed chicken, woodfired pumpkin, and aromatic rice were also a good one and very well made. We thought the vodka pasta could be improved, even though it has a nice flavours from the cheese and the pasta was also al dente, but overall we thought it was quite flat as the acidic flavours were quite dominant. As for the desserts, tried the rice pudding brulee and chocolate ganache. The rice pudding brulee was a great one, with the fruits in it that balanced the rice pudding perfectly and added a nice freshness to the dish. The chocolate ganache was so rich and decadent, with different textures that elevated the overall dish. We also tried the madeleine, which we thought could be better as it was quite dry. Overall, this was one of our highlights during our trip in Ubud, and the foods made our dinner very memorable. Will definitely be back again when we come to Ubud and highly recommend trying this place for special occasions. Absolutely worth it!

A truly beautiful dining experience in Ubud. Nari offers a fantastic location with amazing views, a stunning restaurant setup, and a wonderful upstairs lounge with live music that creates a very special atmosphere. The open-fire concept adds so much character and warmth to the entire experience. The food was excellent from start to finish. The wood-fired bread and butter and the octopus with chickpea purée were absolute standouts, and the charred bell peppers with smoked cashew crème were also fantastic. For the mains, the duck was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and paired beautifully with the sauce. The carrots were also a highlight, and the chocolate dessert was an amazing way to end the evening. Overall, a very impressive venue with beautiful ambiance, strong execution, and memorable dishes. Well done to the team for creating such a special place. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful spot! We stopped at Nari for coffee and desserts and were blown away by both the quality and the stunning view. The coffee was really good, and the desserts were excellent - easily some of the best we’ve had in Bali. The space itself is so cozy yet modern, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the scenery. Special shoutout to Agung for his warm and excellent service. He was genuinely nice and made our visit even more enjoyable with great conversation. Highly recommend Nari if you’re looking for great coffee, delicious desserts, and an amazing view. We’ll definitely be back!

NARI saved the dining experience in Ubud. The best dining experience we had in Ubud. After several failed dinners at other restaurants we were craving a really delicious meal at a cool restaurant - and thankfully we found NARI and they delivered! The food at Nari was excellent; the menu is balanced and the cocktails are good. We had classic margaritas and whiskey sours. For starters a delicious frois gras and beef tartare dish that was really tasty with nice textures. The wood oven bread was nice with the whipped butter. For mains the Picanha steak was immaculately cooked medium rare and seasoned very well with a delicious chimichuri sauce - not too over powering the steak was the main character here. Then we had an amazing vodka mini rigatoni dish with a twist - the put the dish under a wood fire and charred the top of the pasta then topped with parmesan. The char is super clever it added some flavour depth and texture to what can easily be a very simple pasta dish. Super flavourful. The open plan kitchen is always an encouraging sign when you get to a restaurant, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant music, mood and decor was top tier. Tasteful, classy and fun. Thanks for the Nari team for restoring our faith in Ubud’s dining scene! Keep up the great work.
