This is a good place to try onigiri in Ubud. They have a variety of different onigiri to try. Overall, they are well made. I can definitely recommend the one with the salmon, as it taste fresh. The one with the miso taste okay, it's quite sweet and could be more balanced in terms of taste. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. The place is quite small, with very limited seating, so it doesn't really fit groups of people. They also have takeaway or delivery as well. Overall, a good onigiri place to visit!
View on GoogleTasty onigiri, really nice staff. I highly recommend trying the scallion/green onion options - it was actually the tastiest/most flavorful in my opinion! I also tried one of the salmon ones and the yakitori one as well :) the rice is cooked perfectly and warm, which makes a huge difference. Hot Hojicha is very good. Staff is very kind. Small space, great for solo diners or couples. I recommend ordering 3 onigiri if you’re hungry. There’s vegetarian/vegan options and vegan side dishes as well. I think the price is fair considering the quality and service. Would come again :)
View on GoogleI absolutely love Musubi! Their onigiri are freshly made and SO good. My personal favorite is the miso scallion — it’s seriously sooo addictive. 🤤 The staff are amazing, the place is super clean and comfy, and it’s also really easy to get to since it’s not far from central Ubud. Such a lovely little spot for a quick, delicious bite. Definitely one of my favorites in Ubud! ❤️
View on GoogleI ordered 2 Onigiri with a 50k package including 3 side dishes, miso and ocha. Honestly it was worth it! It was so delicious, mindful and felt healthy. I asked what sauce they’re using in Chikuwa and Tofu since it tasted delicious and authentic, turns out the lady said the owner going back and forth to Japan to make the sauce. Will definitely go back there to try other onigiri and matcha and dessert! Arigatou!
View on GoogleHidden gem at local spot! We had dinner with Japanese groups for dinner, I missed so much for rice balls during stay in Bali, I had set meals include 3 favourite side dishes, green tea and miso soup, excellent presentation and real taste! Highly recommended for anyone who is interested in Japanese traditions, also gluten free diet person. With friendly customer service, love to come back again!
