While some of the dishes are a bit hit and missed, their crispy belly is to die for. It’s heavenly good and I’m hungry again thinking of it. Their Tom Yum Fish, i wish it was a streamed fish. Overall it was a great restaurant and I want to try all of their dishes.
View on GoogleMy usual thai food escapade around here. But this time I find it rather un-authentic, although I requested non-spicy, maybe it affected how it taste, still enjoyed them tough. Would always come back here 👍
View on GoogleI’m Thai, and I’ve been looking for authentic Thai food in Bali for a long time. I’ve tried many places, but most of them didn’t taste right to me. However, when I found this restaurant, I could immediately tell they were using real Thai ingredients. The flavors were truly authentic and delicious — it genuinely made me feel less homesick. Unfortunately, I also had an unpleasant experience here. The restaurant itself is not very large, and on May 7th, there was a large group sitting at one table. I’m not sure if they were the owners or friends of the owners, but their behavior was extremely inconsiderate. They were speaking and laughing very loudly over and over again throughout the evening. At first, I tried to tell myself that maybe I was just being too sensitive. But I noticed many other customers turning to look at them repeatedly with obvious annoyance, and still the behavior continued. This is a restaurant. People come here to enjoy their meals, have conversations, and spend relaxing time during dinner. But the noise from that table completely dominated the atmosphere. It was far too loud and honestly very rude. I was genuinely enjoying the food, but the environment became so uncomfortable that I felt like leaving. What disappointed me even more was that the staff never seemed to address the situation at all. The food is truly excellent and authentic, but the atmosphere that night was frustrating and disrespectful to other customers.
View on GoogleThis place is my go to Thai Food restaurant if I am around Ubud. The food was amazing. It was so delicious and authentic. You should try their Tom Yam and Fried steer pork! Sooo yummy. The Thai tea was the best refreshing, not too sweet! Oh more thing, their staffs were so friendly and fast, especially Dayu. She is so genuinely kind and professional! I love her when she took our order! Definitely come back! Worth your visit if you look for local Thai Cuisine around Sayan Ubud Ubud.
View on GoogleBird's Nest Thai Kitchen has some of the yummiest tom yum I’ve had on the island! The flavors are bold and authentic, and you can even choose your spice level, which is a big plus. We were too full to order dessert this time, but I’ve had it before, and it’s seriously good. The prices are super reasonable for how amazing the food is, and the staff are so lovely and welcoming—it really adds to the experience. The only downside is the seating area had a bit of an unpleasant smell, and the toilet could use some work. Overall, this place is hands down my favorite spot for Thai food. Definitely worth a visit! 💛
