We had such a wonderful Balinese dinner here last night. This lovely family-owned restaurant quickly became one of our favorite memories in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we immediately felt at home. The traditional Balinese-style huts create a peaceful and cozy atmosphere, making the whole dining experience feel authentic and relaxing. Our children loved the koi fish swimming beneath the entrance. It was such a beautiful little touch, and they couldn’t stop watching them. We really appreciated that almost every Balinese dish could be made vegan or vegetarian. The menu was clear to follow, although there were so many delicious choices took us quite a while to decide. The fried spring rolls were so good that we ordered a second plate right away. Putu’s Goreng Kecap was incredibly flavorful, and we’re especially grateful for Putu kindly prepared a vegetarian spaghetti for our child. That thoughtful flexibility meant a lot to our family. ♡ The night before, we had taken our kids to see the Kecak Trance Dance, so by dinner time they were exhausted and a little emotional. Like many young children, they had a few tearful moments while we were eating. What touched us most wasn’t just the wonderful food, it was the kindness of the owner. He simply smiled with understanding and gave us the space to comfort our children, never making us feel embarrassed or unwelcome. As parents traveling with young kids, that quiet compassion meant more than words can express. Thank you for creating not only delicious food, but also such a warm, welcoming place where families truly feel accepted. We left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. We can’t wait to come back again!
View on GoogleOne of our favourite warungs in Ubud. The food was super fresh and flavourful. Good portions, good noodles in the mie goreng and the cap cay broth was super flavourful and warming. Small place with a lovely atmosphere and friendly family.

View on GoogleThis was one of the best meals we had in Bali, to a point that we kept coming back, over and over. Their Putu’s chicken is incredible and their soup too 😋 The family running it is so nice and you can feel the love that they put in every plate. Thank you so much for those delicious meals, it felt like a home in Bali!
View on GoogleA wonderful little family run warung with truly authentic Balinese food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and you immediately feel like a guest rather than just a customer. The dishes are freshly prepared and full of flavor, clearly made with care and traditional recipes. Everything I tried was delicious and tasted like real home cooking from the island. If you are looking for genuine local cuisine in a relaxed and friendly place, this warung is a hidden gem. I will definitely come back.
