This is an extremely well designed cooking class. The instruction is thoughtful and the whole experience is fun and full of laughs. The best part is getting to eat a full meal afterwards. I 100% recommend this activity - it is great for the whole family. For context, we do cooking classes as we travel and this is one of the best we’ve ever done. The icing on the cake - you get a handy recipe book with everything you cooked.

A wonderful experience. The morning started with a tour of the market, led by a cheerful and patient man, Wayan. You had the opportunity to buy products from the locals. After this, we went to the Balihouse where the cooking class was held. This was one of the best cooking classes I have ever had. The enthusiasm, love of cooking, knowledge, experience, and warmth of the cooks made it complete. You got the chance to get hands-on yourself, chopping, mashing, baking, steaming, etc. All in all, a successful cooking class that I would recommend to everyone.

The cooking class was really a lot of fun! First you get picked up from your hotel and then brought to the local market where they show you all the fresh ingredients. Afterwards you get introduced to the familie home where you get a welcoming tea and you can visit the family shrine. Then you're in for a fun cooking class! The food at the end was amazing and i would definitly recommend going here if you want a fun and energetic experience.

Today my wife took me to a traditional Balinese cooking class. We were picked up by a driver and after a small travel we arrived there and were welcomed by one of the staffs there with welcome drinks. They let us see the family temple if we want to and after everybody got there the cooking class started. They showed us the ingredients we are going to use today and we make dishes together. We started to grind, chopped, mixed and soon we could also cook under instructions from the staff. They were super helpful and friendly. “The boss” came and made the last steps and told us about alternatives that we can use. Soon everything was done and we had a wonderful meal that tasted awesome. Overall, a great experience and I can’t wait to cook the dishes at home with the cooking books that we got. Thanks to Honey and the whole team of Paon Bali cooking class!

My friend and I lucked upon this amazing cooking class by searching "Best Balinese cooking class Ubud". And so true...this was a fabulous experience! Mama Puspa was a wonderful instructor and also hilarious. We learnt authentic techniques and then thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food we prepared. She also gave us a a recipe book so we can cook the delicious meals at home. The yellow sauce was amazing and we used this in our favourite dishes, chicken and potato curry and sate chicken. It was terrific value for money and the driver who picked us up and took us to the traditional market was also fabulous. I lost my sunglasses and the whole team went out of their way to help me find them. Absolutely above and beyond! An amazing experience, great techniques and food and an enthusiastic and ever so helpful team! Do this class!
