I had a wonderful lunch at Warung Serbet by Alice Islak. The food was delicious, authentic, and made with so much care, but what made the experience truly special was meeting Alice herself. At 79 years old, she is such a lovely and inspiring lady. I had the pleasure of talking with her about life while enjoying my meal, and her warmth, wisdom, and kindness made me feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the company leave such a lasting impression. Thank you, Alice, for the great conversation and memorable experience. I highly recommend Warung Serbet to anyone looking for delicious Indonesian food served with genuine hospitality.
View on GoogleA place not only for great food, but also a place of friendship. The Brenebon Soup is a champion, and the klappertaart reminds me of my mom's klappertaart, truly brings me back to childhood. Aunt Alice cooks with love. You can taste the love in the food... Hopefully, i can continue to share childhood memories with Aunt Alice's delicious food... I'll definitely go back there when I go to Bali... ❤❤❤
View on GoogleSuch a lovely place to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and beautifully designed. We stopped by for some cold beverages and everything was perfect—especially in this warm weather. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a great spot to chill and unwind. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleI did get the chance to take photos of the food, but let me tell you this, Ibu' bruineneboon is the best, her carrot cake is so yummy. Her risoles and crocket, you can't eat just one piece. If you want to have the taste of your Dutch grandma's cooking, just go to Warung Serbet by Alice.
