⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful dining experience at Pondok Madu during my stay in Ubud. The Pork Ribs were absolutely outstanding — tender, juicy and packed with flavour. Easily one of the best pork ribs I have had in Bali. The Banana Melt dessert was equally impressive. The warm caramelised banana paired beautifully with the ice cream, creating a delicious and comforting finish to the meal. The Cappuccino was smooth, aromatic and perfectly prepared. A great cup of coffee to accompany such a satisfying meal. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the excellent service. All the staff members who attended to us were friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. Special thanks to Cindy, who went the extra mile with her warm smile, thoughtfulness and professionalism. Good food is easy to find in Bali, but great food combined with sincere hospitality is what makes a place memorable. Highly recommended, and I would gladly return on my next visit to Ubud.

Superb Balinese food, authentic and tasty. Pork ribs were tender, the tofu satay is a must try. The banana dessert blew me away with the sweet and savoury taste from cheese and ice cream, didn’t know they make such a great combo. Shout out to Cindy for the excellent service and great smile.

Had a great meal at Warung Pokok Madu. Special thanks to Cindy for the warm and attentive service. She was very friendly, helpful with recommendations, and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and the overall experience was wonderful. Would definitely come back when visiting Ubud again!

Really disappointed regarding the service, the food portion & waitress attitude. we reached at 7.20pm and the restaurant it’s warm & air-conditioning is not function . although waitress has provided fans to solve the issue but still no air circulation. At first the waiter arrange us to sit by along the window area due to we did not make reservation. Waiter promise to re-arrange sit once available. However even the sit available but we still need to keep on remind the waiter to allow us to switch the table. The first round we ordered for 9 dishes. It takes more than one hour to serve the foods. The foods being served on 8.32pm. And the food’s doesn’t serve when it’s ready but serve in one shot. So the total waiting time for 9 dishes to be serve in one shot taking 1hr+ . And the food serve in cold. To decide to add on the foods , we have ask in advance whether the waiting time is still taking long and waiter inform there is not much order so we decide to add on some dishes . End up we waiting more than 30mins to get the second order to be serve. Very disappointed experience & even the pork ribs not served in hot . The Tom yum soup even serve in less than half bowl and we clarify with waiter he mentioned this is the actual portion serving.

We had our first dinner in Ubud here in Warung Pondok and everything we ordered was delicious! Apri, our server, was very accommodating! ❤️❤️ their pork ribs are top notch. highly recommended!
