I had the pleasure of trying out this fantastic local street food warung in Ubud, and I couldn't get enough of their Mie Goreng and Mie Nyemek. The food is not only incredibly tasty but also budget-friendly, perfect for a local street food experience. Plus, it's reassuring to know that this place serves halal food. It's easily the top spot for a delightful street food adventure in Ubud. Don't miss out!
View on GoogleWe ordered mie goreng and capcay. Everything tastes alright it's just the portion (mie goreng) is quite small. Maybe we are foreigners? I saw another local person had a bigger portion.
View on GoogleReally good food, you can tell straight away as it was busy with locals! It’s also very good local prices with no service charge. Make sure to try their recommendations, which some of the locals had. In the photo we had Chicken Ayam and Lamb Nasi Goreng. Their Ice tea was also decent!
View on GoogleI had a genuinely comforting lunch at Warung Mbak Arin Ubud—Halal. It’s a modest, bustling spot tucked just off the main roads, with simple décor and a warm, community vibe. The buffet-style display made it easy to build a plate full of tender chicken rendang, flavorful vegetable curries, aromatic rice, and a variety of sambals—each bite felt home-cooked and full of genuine flavor. What stood out was the hospitality: the staff greeted me like a regular, topped up my rice without prompting, and even offered a refreshing cup of their signature iced drink. With hearty portions, wallet-friendly prices, and a friendly atmosphere, it’s the kind of place that makes you feel immediately welcomed and well fed—definitely a must-visit for halal Indonesian fare in Ubud.
View on GoogleWent in because I realized most of the guests were local. I was not disappointed! It seems to be a family business, and they were really friendly. They even asked how I like my food to make sure I don't kill my western tongue with the local levels of spiciness. 😝
