Such a beautiful and serene cafe in a breathtaking resort in the heart of Ubud. Perfect hidden gem, as it wasn’t too packed, just what we were looking for. We loved the strawberry smoothie and choco pizza (forgot to take photos) but honestly even if the food itself wasn’t good, we wld definitely not complain because of how nice the ambience and place is!! Not to mention the people there are all so nice. Shoutout to Pak Made for being anticipatory by offering us to help take our photos & Pak Sutrisna and his team in River Café for the very warm service. Will be back for sure, planning to go and actually stay as an in house guest in Maya Ubud one day.. srsly so glad we stumbled upon this place

From the gracious Chief Butler, Bapak Ada, to the ever-attentive Restaurant Manager, Bapak Sutrisna, and the warm presence of Ibu Yuli, every interaction reflects a deep commitment to service excellence. Their genuine kindness and professionalism embody the spirit of five-star hospitality. The ambiance is serene, the surroundings pristine, and the café itself offers a perfect vantage point to enjoy the natural beauty of the river and forested valley. Despite the luxurious setting, the menu is thoughtfully priced, with delicious offerings that delight without excess. Highly recommended for those seeking a refined yet grounded dining experience in Ubud. A place I would gladly return to—again and again.

A hidden paradise. I wish I stayed in the hotel here, it looks magical. At the cafe, Yuli and Merta Cintya were very nice. The food was okay, a bit more expensive than other places in Ubud but it's worth it. I had the octopus salad.

The River Café @ Maya Ubud A hidden gem tucked away from the busy Ubud town, The River Café offers a beautiful and peaceful setting, perfect for lunch after a relaxing session at Maya Spa. Overlooking the lush Petanu River and surrounded by greenery, the open-air terrace is incredibly calming. The menu features fresh, wholesome dishes with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Service is warm and attentive. A wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy a quiet, scenic meal in nature.

Just had lunch @ The River Maya Ubud Bali. Was a bit lost since we were brought to the other entrance (staircase) but eventually got to their hotel lobby instead. There is a lift for access after being dropped off with a buggy. We were welcomed by Yuli And Cynthia and they were very attentive. The dishes we ordered are the grilled octopus, cauliflower aioli and regina pizza. Everything was really good. One of the staff, Sutrisna also made sure everything went well and smooth. Thank you for Maya Ubud for making us feel comfortable and welcomed @ The River.
