Grill Nusantara is one of the most underrated places to eat in Ubud! If you’re looking for authentic Indonesian grilled dishes with incredible flavor at a very reasonable price, this place is a must-visit. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the grilled chicken and grilled fish, both served with rice, fresh vegetables, and sambal. Everything was perfectly cooked, full of smoky flavor, and the sambal added just the right amount of spice. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and offered excellent value for money. The café has a cozy local atmosphere, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. It’s one of those hidden gems that deserves much more recognition. The seafood here is incredibly delicious and fresh! We ordered grilled fish, grilled scallops and chicken sate - everything was cooked perfectly. But the best part is the owners. They are such friendly, welcoming people, and you can feel they put their heart into their business. They treated us like their most important guests and kept checking if everything was okay. Eating here was a really pleasant surprise. They probably serve one of the best sate in Ubud, along with well-grilled chicken and fish, all at very affordable prices (grilled chicken is only 30,000 rupiah). They also have an upstairs area where you can enjoy the view in a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for lunch or dinner. Places like this—simple, authentic, and full of charm—are hard to find in Ubud
