Ramu is spectacular. It's one of two meals we've had in Ubud so far that I'd count among some of the best food I've ever eaten. Every dish was consistently mind-boggling. Dedi and the team also gave warm and professional service at a level you don't often find. Superb experience.
View on GoogleI really loved the ambience of this place - it feels like a slightly upscale, fine dining restaurant, perfect for a calm or romantic dinner. We visited on a Thursday, and there was a DJ playing very pleasant, well-balanced music that added to the overall atmosphere without being overwhelming. We also took advantage of the happy hour and enjoyed Aperol Spritz. The food was very well prepared and nicely presented - both dishes we ordered met expectations in terms of quality and taste. The service was also very good and added to the overall positive experience. We discovered this place on Google Maps while looking for restaurants near our hotel, and it turned out to be a great find. Highly recommended - a true hidden gem 💎 #reviewbyafandi #tripbyafandi
View on GoogleHad a wonderful dining experience at Ramu Kitchen in Titik Dua Ubud. The Salmon Yum was a standout, the sauce was incredibly flavorful. The hibachi grilled barramundi mangut was SO good, with a smoky depth beautifully balanced by a touch of lime. We also loved the aged duck ssam, especially paired with kimchi, veggie wraps, onion pickle, and pineapple gochujang sauce. Even the fried veggie dishes were delicious. For drinks, the tamarillo was a highlight and really captured the essence of Titik Dua’s flavor profile, alongside a lovely rosé wine. Service was excellent! Staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout. The ambiance was also top-notch. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleThe place has a lovely ambience, and the food was delicious with beautiful presentation. Overall, we had a great dining experience. The only thing I felt could be improved was the presentation of the Tropical dessert, as it could be made a little more appealing and refined. Other than that, everything was enjoyable and well presented.
View on GoogleI had an absolutely exceptional dining experience at RAMU Kitchen in Ubud, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and truly personalized. The staff were incredibly friendly, taking the time to explain each dish’s local ingredients and cultural background, making every step of the meal feel special and immersive. They were quick to attend to every need, ensuring the entire experience was smooth and delightful from start to finish. The food itself is a masterclass in authentic Balinese and Indonesian flavors—each dish is packed with bold, vibrant, and deeply satisfying local tastes that linger perfectly on the palate. Every ingredient shines with freshness, and the traditional cooking techniques bring out incredible depth and complexity in every bite. Whether it was the aromatic seafood mains, the fragrant coconut-infused sides, or the sweet, creamy desserts, every plate was thoughtfully crafted and bursting with authentic character. It’s clear the kitchen takes immense pride in preserving and celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Bali. If you’re in Ubud and craving a truly memorable meal that captures the soul of Indonesian cuisine, paired with impeccable service, RAMU Kitchen is an absolute must-visit. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit!
