Quite pricey based on what I ordered today. My second visit here in a week. I came here for dinner last Saturday and today (Friday) for lunch. Lots of dishes available for choosing but many had flies on the food, especially the chicken, so I limited my choices to the dishes closer to the cashier where fewer flies were visible. I chose 1 tofu, 1 egg, 1 cuttlefish and 1 vegetable. I got charged 45,000 IDR. The food tasted good with nice flavours. The rice came hot but the dishes were room temperature. I hope the dishes can be served hot and covered flies cannot get to them.

WOW! Did I get LUCKY? The beef Rendang was sooo tender & delicious. The terung & telur dadar also excellent. And everything for just 35k! Ill be going back.

This became our favourite place in Ubud! In case it seems confusing, you basically point at whatever you want on your plate. They also sell fresh coconuts. They are a great and affordable option for breakfast, since many places don’t open so early. The family who runs it are really nice! Also it is one of the few halal places in the area.

Stopped here at random because I love Masakan Padang. The restaurant was big and clean. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The selection was vast and the food was delicious. I got this plate and an iced tea for 40k. They also have fans for the sweaty foreigners. Highly recommended
