Norii Japanese Restaurant is one of the best Japanese dining experiences I’ve had in Ubud. The restaurant has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the yakitori was juicy and perfectly grilled, and every dish was beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Everything arrived quickly, and they were happy to answer questions about the menu. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I highly recommend Norii. I’ll definitely be coming back on my next visit to Ubud.

We visited Norii tonight as a group of three, fairly late in the evening and without a reservation, and from the very first moment we felt genuinely welcome. The team received us with such warmth and professionalism. We were even asked about allergens right away, which we really appreciated, and everything was handled with great care and attention. The cocktails were outstanding. We had the Lychee Martini and the Coffee Martini, and both were absolutely fantastic. For starters, we ordered the salmon carpaccio and the tuna carpaccio, and they were so incredibly good that we immediately ordered them again. The fish quality was excellent: perfectly fresh, beautifully cut, and very well balanced in portion and texture. Not too much, not too little, just exactly right. Even our daughter loved it. Everything was beautifully presented, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed, and the whole experience felt smooth, warm, and completely stress free. The staff were friendly, competent, attentive, and made us feel truly comfortable throughout the evening. We were so impressed that we happily left a generous tip. After reading the other great reviews beforehand, we can now fully confirm them ourselves. Absolutely deserved 5 stars and a clear recommendation from us. We would definitely come back.

This restaurant is amazing in every sense of the word! I’ve tried many dishes here, from breakfast to lunch, and every visit has been even better than the last. The food is absolutely delicious—everything I’ve tasted has been fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. I enjoyed every single bite! Honestly, this is the only place I want to eat whenever I’m in Ubud. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. One thing I really loved is that you can see the food being prepared right in front of you, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended if you're looking for delicious food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience in Ubud!
