We ordered Yakitori Don & Miso, chicken curry and grilled mackerel✨ we loved it. My fav was the yakitori (was so smokey and the sauce was yummy!) also the chicken curry so delicious. Also the mochi is a must try! Value for money as well for an authentic japanese cuisine!
View on GoogleThe food is really great and tastes authentic. Love the Oyako-don and Salmon Gozen. The Daifuku mochi is great for dessert. The place can be empty, but do not let that deter you. This place is a gem in Ubud. Thank you!
View on GoogleThe sushi was pretty authentic tasting and looking. The Miso soup was delicious too.
View on GoogleI go a lot to this restaurant and to me, it used to be the best Japanese in Ubud. But the last 3 times I came there has been some issues with the cooking. 1- the shrimp was too old, smelled and tasted aweful so i had to spit it out. 2- the chicken was not cooked through which is dangerous. 3- the rice was from the previous day, very dry and hard, and the little egg "cake" had no salt. I'll give it another try but if there is another bad experience, I just won't come anymore. And that would be sad because I really like the place and staff is soooooonnice. And the strawberry deserts are delicious! Please check what is going on in the kitchen lately!
View on GoogleThis new Japanese resto is a great addition to the warung around Teges/Goa Gajah area. It has great food selection, and I’d suggest to try their lunch set menu, it is value for money bc you get few condiments including Coffee Jelly dessert. I loved the ambience, clean, modern and bright, definitely a good dining experience! If you’re from Jakarta, I’m sure you’re familiar with this type of Japanese lunch set.
