amazing little gem in Ubud! great quality matcha with creative flavor pairings. the ube one just looks too good not to order, and I’m sure I will be back. I also tried the canelé and love the unique texture. crispy, umami on the outside, nicely chewy on the inside, with a creamy decadent filling. the story behind the birth of this place was also very heartwarming to read. highly recommend giving it a quick read while waiting for your drinks. as someone who has seen how Bali has changed so much in the past 15-20 years, it’s a great reminder to honor the culture and treat this island with love and care, before it’s too late. thank you GiGi’s team for creating this space🥰

Absolutely love this place. Such a unique and cozy atmosphere with a really beautiful energy to it. The matcha is very high quality, one of the best I’ve had in Ubud honestly. You can really taste the difference. The staff are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which makes the whole experience even more special. The service is spectacular and everything feels very intentional and high end without losing the cozy feeling. Definitely my favorite matcha bar in Ubud and a place I highly recommend if you appreciate quality, ambiance, and good energy :)

Such sweet service and delicious treats at Gigi's! I'm gluten intolerant so I was so happy to find gluten-free caneles, so pretty to look at! And I tried my first ever ceremonial grade matcha cacao, everything was so yummy. I'll be back for more. Love the vibe and decor.

My wife and me found this place through a random Instagram recommendation when we’re searching for a good matcha shop in Ubud. Surprisingly , GiGi just opened for less than a month. We ordered one matcha-based drink and another cacao-based drink with one cake. Sounds normal, right? Well, trust me it wasn’t your usual matcha-cacao shop. The place is small but intimate. Their service felt personal and kind. Their drinks tastes amazing which led you to believe that these people in GiGi valued their crafts, and the people who come and visited the shop. They know that customers are people who might becoming their future friends and network. It wasn’t a simple pay and bye bye. If you’re in Ubud, spending some time would be a great way to understand how an artisanal beverage tastes and works differently from your typical overly hyped place.
