BEST INDIAN FOOD RESTAURANT IN BALI !! A must must try! I am gonna be brutally honest and quite detailed in this review since I genuinely loved and enjoyed every single meal i ordered and every single bite. What truly sets this place apart from every other restaurant in Bali is their slow cooking method. They carefully cook each dish at the right temperature to preserve the natural nutrients and it shows in the quality. Everything is made from completely fresh ingredients, no packaged products or store bought sauces anywhere. You can taste the difference immediately. As for the food itself, i honestly don’t know where to begin because everything was exceptional. The claypot biryani was incredibly flavourful and aromatic. The butter chicken tikka was outstanding, rich, perfectly spiced, and so tasty. Their lamb dish was easily one of the best we’ve had. The golgappa and vegan thali were also fantastic. We finished with their rose chai, served in a traditional clay pot glass, and it was by far the most authentic and delicious Indian chai we’ve tried in Bali. Every single dish was an absolute 11/10. Highly recommended for anyone craving REAL, HIGH QUALITY Indian food 💯

We were very fortunate to stumble across Curries N More. Deepak and Anisha are very passionate about what they do and there is tremendous care shown in their food and the way they interact with customers. We had the lunch Thali which was delicious and well priced, they were also very accommodating regarding my gluten intolerance and happy to recommend alternatives and talk us through the menu. They make their own ghee, pickles, etc on site and cook in unrefined oils/butter ghee so the food is high quality and clean. We came back a second time for dinner to try some other dishes, but a few of the dishes we ordered were not to our liking flavour/texture wise (vegetable biriyani and mutton mara curry). The quality of the food was still high despite our preference and I would still recommend this place from our experience. (Deepak was even kind enough to offer us a cashew nut sweet treat when he realised we did not enjoy one of the dishes and greatly appreciated our honest feedback) Definitely worth a visit, the lunch Thali deal is spectacular (I would go back and order the Thali again if we were still in Ubud) !

Service here is very good! The owner has an Indian and proudly chatted with us and answered every question. The location is nothing special, more like a bistro. You can choose the “1 Person” portion with rice or Chapati or a “2 Person” portion without any side. I asked the waitress how big the bowls/ portions were and if she could show me the bowl size but she said it’s not possible to show me the bowls. I found that weird. Fortunately I decided to order the “2 person” portion, because the other size is really small. They serve free water and chips, which I appreciated. Also, they serve two dips and pickles - in Indian fashion. I had a Dal Fry which was good but not wow. Overall, the value for money doesn’t match for me here at all. It’s way overpriced and the portions aren’t great. A simple Dal Fry should be affordable and a flagship of any Indian restaurant. Plus, I got charged for a serving of 3 Ladou although I only ordered 1. I ended up paying 194 k - of course they add tax and service charge on top of - for a Dal Fry, a small chapati and a small and not great Ladou ball 😕 Quite disappointing.

A small place just a bit off the Main Street of Ubud. Good selection offered of Indian food. Tasty and authentic. I liked the masala chai which comes with a complimentary vegetarian pea and potato samosas as a day time special. Very delicious. Calm atmosphere inside and air con downstairs. Attentive friendly staff. Prices reasonable.

As a Ubud resident, this is one of my favorite restaurants whenever my expat friends and I are in the mood for Indian food. Since it’s owned by an Indian family, the food tastes truly authentic with rich, comforting flavors. I usually order the Thali because I love trying a variety of dishes. This time I had the Vegetarian Thali with Dal Makhani and Palak Paneer, and both were absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend their chai. It’s served in a traditional clay cup with cardamom and ginger, and comes with a wonderful Indian cookie that’s crispy, and melts in your mouth. This time I also tried the oat milk chai, and it was just as delicious. I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and I honestly feel the food has become even better over the years. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. One thing I really appreciate is the excellent air conditioning. Even on the hottest days in Ubud, it’s a cool and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. It’s one of those places I truly hope will stay in Ubud for many years to come. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Indian food in Ubud!
