Really lovely setting and the staff are super friendly and welcoming! After ordering they give you a complimentary bowl of cassava crisps which is lovely! Slightly disappointed with the food though unfortunately! We have eaten here twice, first time i had the vegetable shakshuka which was super fresh, came with toast and they were happy to give me some fresh chilli’s on the side. My fella had the eggs benedict, which looked lovely albeit a little on the small side! Only one slice of toast which he was a bit gutted about, but the eggs were cooked to perfection :) Second time was where it landed a bit off. Started with spring rolls, they had a nice flavour, but you only get two thin rolls cut in half to look like more. I ordered the shakshuka again as there are only a few veggie options and it was lovely the first time. This time round they bought it out with two very very thin, slices of toast. Just two crusts!!…which was super unfortunate. They happily bought me two extra pieces (crusts) after asking, but charged us at the end, leaving a sour and disappointed feeling as the portion was so much smaller than the first time I ordered, pictured below. He ordered the honey chicken, which looked amazing! The sauce was super sticky but according to him, lacked a lot of flavour. The chicken was dry, he said the sauce didn’t taste like honey atall, and mostly tasted burnt and, just to inform, it does come with bones. He had a side of french fries, which were completely anaemic, soft and barely cooked. Such a shame because the place is lovely, as are the people, but this second experience fell pretty flat.
View on GoogleWe ended up coming here twice because we loved it so much! The food was delicious, freshly made, and very affordable. The nasi goreng was incredibly flavorful and super filling, and the honey butter chicken was another standout. My friend ordered the fish, which came with three generous pieces and creamy mashed potatoes. I also tried the spaghetti Bolognese, which was rich and delicious, although the portion was a little small, so I’d recommend ordering an appetizer with it if you’re hungry. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a beautiful view overlooking the rice paddies. Since everything is made from scratch, the food takes a little longer to come out, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleSwear to God this was the best chicken fried rice I’ve tasted. The view of the rice fields is so peaceful. Staff are friendly and chill.
