Restoran Bebek Joni in Ubud is a great place if you want Balinese food with a beautiful outdoor setting. The restaurant is spacious, surrounded by greenery, lotus ponds, traditional Balinese-style buildings, and plenty of wooden seating. The crispy fried fish I tried was flavorful, with a rich sweet-savory sauce, chili, and fresh vegetables. The Indonesian mixed rice platter was also a nice way to try several local dishes in one meal. The iced drink was refreshing and went well with the food. What I liked most was the atmosphere. There are large open-air dining areas, garden seating, traditional decorations, and plenty of photo spots. It feels more like a Bali dining experience than just a restaurant. Service was generally good, and the restaurant has plenty of space, making it suitable for families, groups, and tourists. Reviews are somewhat mixed on food consistency and pricing, so I would recommend coming mainly for the combination of Balinese atmosphere + local food + garden setting, rather than expecting fine dining. A relaxing Ubud restaurant with a beautiful Balinese atmosphere, spacious outdoor seating, and a good selection of local Indonesian dishes. Definitely worth a stop if you're exploring the Ubud area and want somewhere scenic to enjoy a meal.

Bebek Joni is a great place to enjoy traditional Balinese food, especially if you’re a fan of duck. I ordered the Bebek Goreng, and it was absolutely delicious! The duck was tasty, crispy, and really enjoyable. I had it with a fresh orange juice, which went perfectly with the meal. The only thing missing for me was Dadar Gulung for dessert! 😄 I would have loved to finish the meal with this traditional Balinese dessert, but unfortunately, it wasn’t on the menu. Maybe something to add in the future! Overall, a really enjoyable meal and definitely a good spot for Bebek Goreng. 🦆🍊🌿✨ Really touristic place.

Beautiful rice-field setting, tasty duck, and plenty to explore. The ducks wander around the rice fields while you enjoy a duck meal—slightly funny, but very tasty! There are many set menus to choose from, as well as à la carte options. Our driver recommended this place, and although I’m not sure which duck dish we ordered, we enjoyed it and would happily come back. The setting is much better than many sightseeing restaurants. There are swings, several viewpoints, and a lovely outdoor walking area along the rice fields and lotus ponds. The chicken satay was also beautifully presented, with both lilit satay and more traditional Balinese-style satay available. Definitely worth a visit for the food and scenery. Friendly staffs.

I was dining at Bebek Joni 4 times so far, taking my guests to enjoy the food here. From food quality, service to amazing view with Ricefield settings, this is by far one of the best Balinese restaurant worth a visit. Their signature dish is Crispy duck, it marinated into perfection, succulent and juicy 🙏❤️

Recommended here by our chauffeur, and was treated to a wonderful scenery as we dine 👍🏻 🦆 seeing that they are famous for their duck dishes, we ordered both the grilled and fried versions, and they both tasted good - nothing to shout about in particular since we have had better ones, but no complaints either The views were great and it didn’t need much fans to keep the temperature cool since it was a very open space with greens surrounding the main dining area to keep it chill, not to mention an abundance of alfresco dining tables which has good vibes - though those have low tables which makes it hard to sit for long. Nonetheless, it was a good meal with an even better view for sure 👍🏻
