Came here to try Bakso based on the good review and it did not disappoint. Stall is small but clean. Owner is friendly and service is quick. I ordered Bakso with rib first and later ordered another beef Bakso. Bakso was tasty and soup was flavorful while a bit salty, like someone mentioned, but acceptable. Definitely worth trying and I will be back again soon.

I had the beef ribs bakso soup here. very friendly and quick service. Not too salty, very wholesome umami flavour which I absolutely enjoyed you can also add those condiments on the side. Please support this local business it is so cheap and delicious before the other tourists find it. Will definitely comeback. 🇦🇺

One of the best bakso restaurants I’ve visited in Indonesia so far. I’ve been here twice, and both times I ordered the Beef Bakso. You can really taste that the meatballs are made from high-quality pure beef—they’re full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The spare ribs are just as impressive: tender, perfectly cooked, and with plenty of meat on the bones. Unlike many other bakso places, you don’t have to search for the meat. The owner is also very warm and welcoming, always happy to have a friendly conversation, which makes the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back. Next time I’ll try the Bakso Ayam!

I came here from google recs, not disappointed. Best Bakso I had around Ubud so far, only take Tetelan Iga, coming every saturday for a late breakfast as a new ritual, nice owner, don't mind the road traffic, sweet price (if you're very hungry you might need two^^)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a splendid supper at Bakso Mama, a simple street food stall where the boss and his wife are incredibly friendly and speak fluent English. Tourists will have no language barrier here, and their warm smiles are irresistible. The chicken bakso in hot clear soup was amazing, with simple spices, coriander, and fried onions enhancing the flavor. We also tried the beef ribs, a mix of ribs and beef bakso, and each bowl came with sliced cabbage, crispy rice noodles, a tofu filled with fish paste, and a big piece of fried wonton skin, adding an extra crunch to the soup. I personally preferred the beef bakso for its slightly more crunchy texture. The boss offered us their own prepared fresh chilies, which were super spicy but made the soup even more delicious with just a few drops. The stall is very clean and neat, with no bad odors. I have noticed them using big bottle of mineral water. Everything was neatly arranged, including the folded tablecloths, and the cooking area was not greasy at all despite being busy. They had already sold out of the tofu by the time we arrived, which shows how popular the stall is. The prices are very cheap, and for foreigners like us, it's super affordable. Highly recommend! #BaksoMama #StreetFood #ChickenBakso #BeefBakso #SplendidSoup #FriendlyService #CleanStall
