A Must-Visit for Authentic, Fiery Balinese Babi Guling If you want to skip the tourist traps and eat where the locals actually queue up, Babi Guling Pan Lolo is the real deal. This place delivers a truly authentic taste of Bali without compromise. The Food: Bold, Big, and Beautifully Spicy The portions here do not disappoint—they are incredibly generous. Every plate is a mountain of perfectly seasoned rice, rich and fragrant lawar, and an assortment of crackling pork. But fair warning: they do not tone down the spice. The flavor profile is unapologetically bold, packed with a fiery basa gede (Balinese spice paste) that hits the spot if you love authentic heat. The pork is tender, the skin is perfectly crispy, and the accompanying soup is rich and deeply flavorful. The Vibe & Atmosphere Unlike many hyper-local spots where you have to eat shoulder-to-shoulder or take your food to go, Pan Lolo actually offers plenty of seating. It’s a bustling, high-energy environment filled with locals, which is always the ultimate sign of a great warung. The service is fast, the turnover is quick, and the atmosphere gives you a genuine slice of local daily life. Pro Tip: Go with a serious appetite, and maybe grab a cold drink ahead of time to help handle the glorious, authentic heat! Value for Money: 10/10 Authenticity: 10/10

First time eating at Babi Guling Pan Lolo. The queue was quite long, so be prepared to wait. But it’s worth it! The babi guling is delicious with a complete variety of sides. It’s a bit spicy, but really tasty. The staff are also very friendly. If you’re in Ubud and not sure where to have dinner, definitely give this place a try.

An absolutely beautiful local place just off the main road. The food was delicious! The staff are warm and the place is bustling with almost non-stop customers. The portions are huge even for the regular portion. Will definitely visit again!

Was excited to try this dish and it didn't disappoint. The service for ordering is efficient, but there's a wait for dine in and take out. Ambience is nice, especially the rooftop and the food is totally worth the wait (just be careful with the spiciness). A great place for first Babi Guling

Really great flavor Great energy from everyone working My plate just had mostly fat. I barely got any meat so I was disappointed however, I don’t think all plates are served like that I feel it was just bad luck. 🍀 Decent Q/wait when I arrived, but it moved relatively quick and I did not have to wait to sit. Suksma!
