Had an amazing experience at Agung Rai Fine Art Gallery with Yudi! It ranges from Batuan and Young Artist Style!

What a wonderful place. It has the vibe of a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel. Beautiful buildings that host art, shop, cafe blend in with the lush greenery and animals walking around. The art is fantastic, you can find some real gems here. It’s a shame that the rooms are not closed and air conditioned, exposing the artworks to moisture and light.

Really great gallery, nice surroundings and lovely local art. We've met some locals artists too who showed us their painting techniques which was pretty cool. However, the price is RIDICULOUS!! 150k is way too much for little local gallery! I paid such amount in London to see the best artists in the world! If you're travelling on the budget/backpacking maybe avoid this gallery and see some art for free :) I think 100k would be a more reasonable price.....

Very disappointing. Most of the paintings were stacked up against walls in corners, not displayed not hanging. Both the art works and the building in disrepair. Art on display very repetitive, a whole room of the same artist, same theme, not well curated. The 150000 rupiah entrance fee included tea or coffee and a small glossy 150 page booklet about the founders of the museum.I think more money spent on maintaining the gallery displays would be a better idea. The booklet will go in the bin. They could have the story of the founding family written somewhere in the museum to read. And the famous rice paddy painting in the booklet and on every google site was not even on display. It really feels like the museum owners do not care to maintain this artistic heritage.
