We had walked past Abuela Soca several times during our stay in Ubud, but this morning we finally decided to stop for breakfast—and we’re so glad we did. This is a wonderful little spot overlooking the rice fields, where you can enjoy a surprisingly high-quality breakfast in a peaceful setting. I had the Eggs Benedict, which was perfectly prepared with beautifully poached eggs and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce. Definitely one of the better breakfasts we’ve had in Ubud. They also have an extensive selection of fresh juices and smoothies. The green juice we ordered was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. Their coffee was excellent as well, with beautiful latte art and a rich, smooth taste. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and the combination of great food, excellent coffee, and the tranquil rice field view makes this a place we would happily return to. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet breakfast spot just outside the busy center of Ubud.
View on GoogleWhat a beautiful place! Loved the whole vibe! The aesthetics of the building, the kind, friendliness of the lads working and the food was such a lovely lunch experience, over looking a lovely field, with rice paddies around :). My partner had the eggs benedict, which comes with garlic mushrooms, a surprise sausage, tomato and a hash brown. Bit stingy on the mushrooms but overall he said it was really tasty! The sausage isn’t in the description so an added little bonus! I had the tofu-tempeh satay skewers, added some chilli sauce on the side and I was WOWED by the portion size! FIVE big skewers, the veg was absolutely delicious, had a little char to it, so so tasty! The peanut sauce was also lovely, and the potatoes came smothered in garlic which is a big big YESSSSS from me!! :D The potatoes were a little hard, but didnt take away from the dish. Would definitely recommend, such a gorgeous experience!
View on GoogleHad such a lovely lunch at Abuela SOCA 🤍 Fresh food, healthy options and everything tasted really good. The avocado toast with eggs and the broccoli soup were amazing. 🥑🥦 Beautiful view over the rice fields, a peaceful atmosphere and such a nice hidden gym as well. 🌴✨ You can really feel that everything is fresh and made with care. Definitely coming back here again while in Bali.
View on GoogleBeautiful staff, beautiful view and a good little menu to choose from. They give the most delicious potato chips before your meal (complimentary). I got a pineapple chicken salad and to my surprise it was literally in a pineapple. Very cute.
