This place is such a hidden gem. It’s amazing for kids and families to hang out but I don’t even have kids lol, I just love the environment. It’s a lovely place to work on my laptop for a bit. What initially attracted me to this place was actually the menu. I eat a low carb animal based diet and it is sometimes difficult to eat out without wasting food. This place has amazing bone broth and I love that you can order stuff a la carte. I’ve been getting the chicken sausage, avo, grilled halloumi, and egg. And adding ghee to my bone broth. Very tasty and nourishing ✨ (there are also lots of plant based options if you’re vegan) Also, all of the staff are extremely kind. After just a couple visits, they remembered my name, greeted me, and were very attentive. Overall, very good vibes here ❤️🙏🏼

Village Café Ubud is one of the most charming cafés I’ve visited in Bali. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with a unique design that feels like a mix between treehouses and cozy wooden homes, surrounded by nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect place for breakfast, enjoying a slow morning, or simply taking some time for yourself. I especially loved the spacious balcony with an open view, which makes it an ideal spot for journaling, reading, or working on your laptop while enjoying the fresh air. The iced cappuccino was excellent—smooth, refreshing, and perfectly made. If you’re looking for a calm, inspiring, and beautiful café in Ubud, Village Café is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. Great coffee, delicious breakfast, and one of the most relaxing atmospheres in town. 🌿☕📖✨🌴

I just absolutely loved this place shut a gem! It just has a really positive and calm vibe about it. Lots of cool and calm seating areas and lovely touches like affirmation colouring for kids. My little boy loved it especially the green area, climbing frame, books and the little play kitchen with a working tap! The food was healthy and delicious! A must visit in Ubud. Service was lovely and Mita and her colleagues were so attentive.

Avoid if you don’t have small children… this place is used as a small children’s daycare. The food and service were amazing tho… just the toddlers everywhere in every area of the cafe (also upstairs) was too prevalent for my liking so I felt kind of out of place for not having kids with me
