The pizza is so yummy honestly, I haven’t had a good pizza in so long… salad was delicious too. The service is super fast. Great outdoor space for sitting. Thank you Deska!! You’re awesome!!
View on GooglePizza Bagus is one of the oldest authentic Italian Restaurant in Ubud where great Italian as well as some Indonesian food is served. I love their Pizza’s, their wonderful fresh salads 🥗 and pasta dishes with tomato or pesto sauces. They also have some delicious desserts from which I liked the chocolate mousse a lot. The nice wine 🍷 and beer assortment is great. Their staff is super friendly. I got to know the owners which are a wonderful Italian Indonesian couple which share their love with their food. They also made a great little Delly where they offer International cheeses 🧀 olives 🫒 etc. and fresh cuts. They also have some great breads and other food items which can be really helpful and appreciated. In short I love Pizza Bagus and I can highly recommend it. Try it if you are in Ubud.
View on GoogleLoved this place! I ordered through delivery, and everything arrived still hot, fresh, and packed really well. I got the Bagus Pizza and the Salami & Pepperoni Pizza, and both were sooo good. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were generous, and the flavors were on point. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Even with delivery, the pizzas still tasted amazing and looked just as good as expected. Definitely ordering again whenever I'm craving pizza. Highly recommend! 🍕✨
View on GoogleWe stayed for a few days in Ubud and this was our nr1 spot to eat! The staff is super friendly and the food tastes amazing! We have had breakfast, lunch and diner at this place an we didnt have any problems at all. Its also realy hygienic and clean! Its a must visit if you travel to Ubud!
View on GoogleWe visited this restaurant a few days ago. It was me and my sister. First we had to wait a very long time for fried calamari, which unfortunately turned out to be rubbery and overcooked. After that we waited even longer for the pasta. My sister ordered pasta with salmon, but they added so much chili that it was basically impossible to eat. My broccoli pasta was surprisingly okay, although a bit too salty. The only good thing I can mention is the apple juice. It was fresh, tasty, and the portion was large. Now about the service, it was honestly terrible. The staff seemed completely confused and even panicked when they realized that we wanted separate bills. They kept trying to convince us to pay together instead of simply bringing two checks, which should not be a problem in any normal restaurant. After a very long wait we finally received two bills, but the problems didn’t stop there. I wanted to pay cash while my sister wanted to pay with QRIS, and the staff again seemed totally unprepared for this. Eventually we managed to pay, but then they asked my sister for her phone number “in case the bank has problems and the money doesn’t arrive.” That makes absolutely no sense. The money left her bank account, if there is any banking issue, that is clearly the restaurant’s problem, not the customer’s. To make things even worse, the manager later tried to lecture us about how we should have informed them in advance that we wanted separate bills. In most restaurants around the world this is a completely normal and simple request, but apparently here it becomes a huge problem. At one point the staff also referred to us as a “couple,” which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Overall this experience was extremely disappointing and it ruined my sister’s mood, which is honestly the worst part of the whole situation. There are many good Italian restaurants in Ubud with much better food and service. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else and not wasting your time here.
