Old Friends Coffee was one of my favorite coffee stops in Ubud. The coffee was absolutely delicious, smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, with just the right depth of flavor and aroma in every sip. You can immediately tell they take their coffee seriously and truly care about quality. A special thank you to Deborah, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She took the time to explain that the coffee I had was from Kintamani, and also told me about their other varieties from places like Java and beyond. It was lovely to learn more about the origin of the beans and the care behind each cup. She also explained that the person roasting their coffee is exceptionally talented and clearly knows exactly how to bring out the best in every bean, finding that perfect roast point where the coffee releases its full flavor and aroma in such a beautifully balanced way. And you can taste it. They also sell whole beans to take home, with different varieties to choose from, which is a great touch if you want to bring a little piece of Bali back with you. The quality is undeniable. Highly recommended for anyone who truly appreciates a great cup of coffee in Ubud.

I would wish to keep this place for myself coz that is a SPOT OF LOVE for me Great ! Absolutely great coffee!!! (Buy immediately beans for your home) My usual drink is flat white and my friend ordered ‘dirty espresso’ and it’s now my fav for cold drinks ❤️ The atmosphere there is just you came to your friends for your coffee drink and talk. Pretty small (which is great), but so cozy They even sell vintage and antique there (which is my other passion) My Love in Ubud ❤️ Ps. Taste their raw chocolate cake You are welcome 😉

Super cute vibes, nice presentation, and the little cake was delicious. Choice of different beans roasted lighter and darker for espresso drinks. But the flat white came with only one shot. Even on their darkest roast beans it was a milky mess, and that's not right. The weak coffee notes that came through the milk tasted nice and the extraction seemed good. But with this recipe, I wouldn't recommend.

This was my first time trying the coffee here. The coffee was quite strong — maybe suitable for people who enjoy bold coffee, but personally it was a bit too strong for me. There is also very limited parking space for cars, which was a bit inconvenient. Unfortunately, the cashier staff was not very friendly, so the overall experience could be improved. Hopefully the service will get better in the future.

I liked the flavor of my coffee which was ordered using drip method, it was a light roast and had a nice profile I would say the flavor and freshness was 7/10. The chocolate cake could have been better, it needed more cacao and sweetness. The crust was strange, a grahm cracker would be more tasty, and provide a better texture, the recipe needs to be tweaked. The café seating is uncomfortable, I was sitting on a short hard wooden stool. They could put on cushions and should buy more comfortable chairs instead of hard wooden benches and metal/wooden stools which are not conducive for sitting for more than 5 minutes without getting a sore bum. I really enjoyed the music selection, it provided a nice ambiance. The cafe is cute, sunny and the staff were friendly.
