Amazing traditional Balinese food and culture! This place is huge with tons of seating options, but it still feels super cozy and welcoming. We ordered the crispy duck with coconut rice and the mixed platter. The platter was amazing—it came with chicken satay, fish, chicken, tempeh, and perkedel kentang (potato patties) surrounding a mountain of coconut rice in the middle. Everything was beautifully served on a traditional bamboo plate. The highlight of our night was the evening entertainment. They have live traditional Balinese dance performances which made the atmosphere incredible. Highly recommend coming here for dinner!

Laka Leke Restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Bali! The atmosphere is beautiful, surrounded by lush tropical gardens that create a peaceful and authentic Balinese setting. We came for dinner and were treated to an incredible evening filled with delicious food and an unforgettable traditional Balinese dance performance. The dinner was excellent, with fresh local ingredients and authentic flavors. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of taste. The cultural performance was absolutely mesmerizing, with talented dancers, colorful costumes, and live traditional music that brought Balinese heritage to life. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. If you're visiting Ubud and want to enjoy the best dinner combined with an amazing traditional Bali performance, Laka Leke Restaurant is the perfect choice. It offers a wonderful cultural experience that we will always remember. Highly recommended!

Today one of my wishlist items finally came true: trying the crispy duck at Laka Leke Restaurant in Ubud. At first, I had a small difficulty finding the exact entrance because Google Maps already showed I had arrived, but at around 8.30 PM it was a bit confusing to locate the dining area. I think clearer signage in front of the restaurant would really help guests who come at night. Once I entered, the atmosphere felt very “Bali”. The vibes are beautiful and I believe it would look even better if you visit during the day or late afternoon. I ordered the crispy duck that I discovered from TikTok, also Nasi Campur and honestly, it’s highly recommended for duck lovers. The portion is perfect for one person, no unpleasant smell at all, and the duck is truly crispy. I would rate it 9/10 — the only minus is the rice portion could be a bit more (just kidding 😄). What really amazed me was the service from the female staff who was in charge of my dining area. I forgot to ask her name, but she stayed in my area from 8.30 PM until I finished, also handling a group of foreign guests nearby. Her service was beyond expectation. She didn’t differentiate between local and foreign guests, served wholeheartedly, very friendly, entertaining, and truly respectful to customers. Big appreciation to her — 12/10 service, very satisfying. Additional notes: the food tastes amazing, well-balanced, and the venue is beautiful. It would be even better if the digital marketing was more active, updating Instagram with a more modern, trendy style, because the place and food are already excellent, and it would be a pity if promotion doesn’t keep up with the quality. I will definitely come back again, not only because of the food, but also because of the warm and excellent service from the waitress in charge.

We went a little later in the day, so the place wasn’t crowded. We ordered the Crispy Duck and Nasi Campur. The Crispy Duck was excellent—crispy, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The Nasi Campur was good as well. The restaurant has a slightly dim atmosphere, but it’s beautifully decorated with statues and ponds, giving it a unique and relaxing Balinese ambience.
