We came across this restaurant while staying at the Moksa temple. Probably the best meal overall that we had while in Bali. My partner had the veg thali and I had the veg rice bowl for lunch. We found the layers and depth of spices at galle club perfectly balanced. Authentically South Indian flavours (down to the green coconut chutney) presented in an original and beautiful way. The location and ambience is peaceful, away from the hustle of ubud centre and opposite a green space. Also beautiful interior and music. The service was warm and thoughtful, checking for me if the various dishes were suitable for vegans and what level of spice we could manage. We recommend this place if you are looking for healthy plant based food that is bursting with flavour in an amazing setting. Thank you!
View on Google⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a hidden gem in Ubud. This cozy Sri Lankan restaurant is beautifully tucked away and has an amazing ambience — warm lighting, relaxed vibes, and a really welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The food is outstanding. Authentic Sri Lankan and Indian flavours, rich spices, perfectly cooked dishes, and everything tastes fresh and made with care. You can really tell it’s proper home-style cooking, not toned down for tourists. Every dish we tried was delicious and full of flavour. If you’re in Ubud and craving genuine Sri Lankan or Indian cuisine in a cozy, intimate setting, this place is a must-visit. Will definitely be back.
View on GoogleRelaxing, calming atmosphere, chilled music, attentive staff. First time trying Sri Lankan and Indian inspired cuisine and it was amazing! So many aromas, different colours and lots of flavours. Everything was fresh, even the mocktails are freshly made. Desserts were incredible. Wow just wow. This place is a MUST VISIT when you come to UBUD. Loved it so much!
View on GoogleThis one’s a little gem! Popped in for a quick lunch so sadly couldn’t work my way through all the interesting dishes on the menu, but the Hopper Thali with chicken curry was just lovely. Light, clean, and really good quality. You leave satisfied without feeling stuffed. The space is beautifully designed too. Would love to come back with a big group and properly do the menu justice!
View on GoogleWhat a lovely gem—design wise and food wise! Been craving for hoppers/appam, and this one comes with generous servings of sides: dahl, pumpkin/chicken/fish curry (I had the pumpkin), pickles, and chutneys. Ordered the Hot Butter Haloumi, which has similar flavors as Kung Pow Chicken—so flavorful. Lunch came with complimentary madras filter coffee, which was pretty strong (important to offset/balance the heavy dishes 😆). Would return to try other menus (and for the hoppers again).
