We were in a private villa. The Hotel looks like very good and has a good atmosphere. The staff is very kind and give a huge amount of breakfast and those meals were delicious. We did not understand why is nobody at the restaurant every night. We have tried it and understood it. The dinner meals were not so delicious for us (it could be good for others) but so expensive. They add to the bill service fee and government tax (22%) which is the highest that we experienced in Bali. The rooms of our villa is enough big and clean, the bathroom is also. We did not try the private pool but it looked like it should be renovated a bit. From my point of view the Hotel deserves 4* overall.

We had a nice stay here. Staff were fabulous and so was the breakfast. Communication with staff is great and really easy. Location wise it is in the middle of nowhere so be cautious as there are no shops close or anywhere to walk to really apart from one restaurant down the street. Pool is nice but gets very dirty as it’s situated under a tree. Sun beds in the garden are pretty filthy so I couldn’t some da day on them. Rooms were really nice, bed is super comfy. Showers don’t work very well, water pressure is pretty poor. Be careful of the bugs, there are thousands around. Even with doors closed they still find a way in.

Small but beautiful and peaceful place. The location was good and having your own private pool villa is a plus. The rooms were clean and maintained well. The staff were very friendly, kind and attentive. The food was amazingly yummy. We requested a floating breakfast and they arranged that for us as well. Highly recommended!

had an amazing stay at Villa Kayu Lama. The service was excellent — the staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with great variety and high quality. Everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared. Cleanliness was also top-notch. The villa was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable throughout our stay. We also rented a motorbike directly from them, and the process was smooth and reliable. The bike was in great condition and made it very easy to explore the area. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed stay in Bali!

The service was more than 5 stars. The kindness of the recepsionists, of the waitress and everything was more than amazing. Nice people, kind people, so what do you need more. The room also very clean with pool and amazing view
