Absolutely awesome place to go for my birthday. Staying next door at the wonderful Avalon Castle, just a quick walk over to it. Drinks and nibbles before the show. We sat in the Elders Box as we are not very interactive people. The show was absolutely fantastic, very happy to watch without having to participate. Did go down for photos at the end and I was stocked to get a birthday cake, lovely surprise 🥰 The dinner was amazing while watching another fire dance. Definitely worth going again as it was fantastic. Well done xx
View on GoogleWhen we got out of the Grab, our first impression was honestly a bit scary since the place was surrounded by forest-like scenery. It’s also not very elderly-friendly because there are quite a few stairs going down to the venue. Once we arrived at the tables, though, the whole place felt very campy and unique. Mosquitoes are expected in this kind of setting, but they provide mosquito spray which was thoughtful. When the play started, I found it really interesting. Such a cool and immersive experience, and the story actually leaves you with something to think about afterward. I also enjoyed the food, I love how the owner incorporated it into the overall experience. Definitely a great and unique experience to try when in Ubud.
View on GoogleAbsolute Disaster – Don't Waste Your Time or Money! I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at The Oracle of Spice was so bad I felt legally obligated to warn others. The Weather: Look, it was raining. I can’t blame the restaurant for the clouds, but the way they handled it was pathetic. The entire vibe was dampened—literally and figuratively. The Wait: The management has zero concept of capacity. They kept letting guests in long after the place was full. Because they were so overbooked, the kitchen couldn’t keep up. We sat there forever just staring at empty tables while the "late arrivals" kept pouring in. The Food: When the food finally arrived, I thought it was an appetizer. That was it? Small portions, zero flavor, and definitely not worth the price. I’ve seen more "spice" in a glass of water. The "Show": The biggest insult? They cancelled the scheduled performance because of the rain. Instead of an apology or a refund, they just gave us a shrug and a "Just come back tomorrow." Yeah, right. Like I’d spend another dime here.
View on GoogleWe booked for the mini fire show and dining experience (big show on some other dates). The staff were super friendly and enthusiastic. There was a theme to the whole dining and drinks experience - I won't say more as you need to find out for yourselves but it is so well thought out and so much effort has gone into it. Lots of variety of food which was delicious. Really enjoyed the fire dance and we were invited up to have a go too! Memorable experience.
View on GoogleIncredible experience. The owner has such an amazing story of how the place was built and his why. I cant wait to come back and experience the rest of what this place to offer. The fire dancers were wonderful to watch and I loved how they interact with the guests. 🥰
