Tempego Bali was such a great experience! The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were incredibly friendly (shout out to Benny and Indah), and everything felt well-organized from start to finish. I especially loved the warm hospitality that made me feel welcome right away. Their innovative approach to tempe cooking is truly unique — every dish was creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The taste was absolutely amazing and unlike anything I’ve tried before. The quality of the service exceeded my expectations, and it’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Bali!

The Tempe Making workshop is such a wholesome experience! We didnt expect there are tempe tasting both savoury and sweet and chocolate. Dont come with a full stomach. The workshop host is very knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt loads about tempe history and making. Recommend anyone who’s interested with tempe to try. Such a fun experience.

Without a doubt one of the best experiences I’ve had in Bali. From beginning to end, everything was exceptionally well organised, thoughtful and genuinely inspiring. The tempeh experience itself was fascinating – not only delicious, but deeply informative, offering a real insight into the culture, process and care behind it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every detail felt carefully considered, making the whole experience both relaxing and engaging. It’s rare to find something that is at once educational, hands-on and so enjoyable. A very special thank you to the lovely Indah for her time, patience, knowledge and genuine kindness. Her passion truly shines through and makes the experience even more memorable. This is such a unique and meaningful activity, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali – whether you’re interested in food, culture, or simply looking for something truly special to do.

Such a pleasant experience! Tempe was delicious and unique. We had so much fun with the tempe making workshop, Ko Benny was soooo patient, and truly passionate with tempe! I learned a lot and would definitely recommend this place for people to learn more about tempe and this amazing place

A really fun and memorable experience in Ubud. Indah was fantastic — warm, energetic, and very engaging throughout the workshop. You can tell she truly loves what she does. I learned so much about tempeh and got to try so many surprisingly delicious tempe-based foods and snacks. Some of them honestly didn’t even taste like what I imagined tempeh could be. The workshop was well organized, informative, and the perfect length. It felt personal, relaxed, and authentic rather than touristy. Definitely one of the more unique experiences I’ve done in Bali.
