Satria Agrowisata is a great stop while exploring Ubud. The plantation is beautifully maintained, and the staff are warm, welcoming, and happy to explain the traditional coffee-making process, along with the medicinal herbs, teas, spices, and tropical plants grown on the property. It was great to learn about their traditional uses and how everything is produced. The complimentary tasting platter included a delicious variety of coffees and herbal teas, making it easy to discover new flavours. You can also chose to try the famous Luwak coffee for a unique experience. What we appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. The staff were genuine, kind, and simply wanted to share their knowledge, making it a relaxing and enjoyable visit. If you're exploring the Ubud area, Satria Agrowisata is well worth a stop.
View on GoogleAmazing experience! You get a tour around the coffee plantation with a private tour guide, a chance to test their various tea and coffee sorts, learn about the coffee luwak making process and also see the creatures producing the most expensive and debatable the best coffee in the world. All of that is for free! If you want to try the luwak coffee you have to order it and costs 55k and they also have a shop, where you can buy luwak coffee beans and various tea sorts. There are many coffee plantations around Ubud, but we really wanted to see the luwaks, so we choose this one and I would definitely recommend it!
View on GoogleAmazing coffee tasting experience. Loved being able to sample different types before deciding which ones to buy. The variety is great and the quality of top-notch. Perfect spot to pick up some authentic Bali coffee gifts.
View on GoogleThis is an awesome place to stop during a trip to Ubud, it’s well organised and has great facilities, love the garden walk at the start, so great to get a visual perspective on the ingredients that’s in the teas and coffees they produce. A big thank you to our host Nur, her knowledge on herbs and coffee production was most excellent! The “Poo Hunter” t-shirts are good quality and excellent value, a must have!
View on GoogleOverall I had a good experience. However, I purchased a few things that I am not happy with. The choclate is too sweet and does not taste like there is much cacao. The vanilla coffee lacks flavor based on the serving ratio printed on the box. Also, I do not like that the coffee is a powder versus fresh coffee grounds. The Bali coffee is probably the best bang for your buck. Our host, Pu, was awesome but this is definitely a tourist trap!
