Admission is free to this gorgeous coffee plantation. Carparking is easy. Greeted by a hostess whose explains the trees and plants used to embellish tea and coffee to offer them as a variety of tastes while enhancing your wellbeing. We made our way through the gardens to where the luwak lay resting and the process of making their beans into coffee. This was followed by tasting cups of coffee and teas. All far too delicious to describe. We made our way to the shop afterwards to purchase as many of them as we could carry. A happy afternoon ☕️

Very personalized experience. Staff member met us at the parking lot, took around the plantation, explained everything and then we had a coffee tasting. Staff are extremely nice and polite. Even if you are not a big coffee fan, still worth visiting. In the souvenir shop apart for coffee they have lots of local herbs, spices, cosmetics and so on.

Big scam and tourist trap. Prices of coffee, spices, tea etc are blown up to 10 maybe 15 times of what it is to trick naive tourists. A little packet of black pepper sold for Rp 70.000 when in a supermarket nearby it sells for around Rp 8.000. And don’t think anything in the shop is of any better quality than elsewhere. They gave us plenty of testers. Instant chocolate passed off as gourmet, powdered extremely sugary tea drinks passed off as fresh herbal tisanes. But if we don’t buy anything the guide is visibly upset and becomes pushy. Also it is not a plantation at all, but rather a glorified shop. their “plantation” is only a few square meters large. none of the things they sell in the shop is grown on this site, and nothing was of any quality. But our worst experience was the guide who followed us everywhere, was extremely pushy and made very inappropriate sexual jokes and comments to us constantly. It was in the context of some root that supposedly is good for sexual health, but to make very explicit and sexual comments jokes in public when we are strangers to each other made the whole group very uncomfortable. Not to mention there were young children present who did not need to hear that. To top it all off they kept two live luwaks in a sad bare cage, with uncomfortable wire flooring and nowhere to hide, play or sleep comfortably. When we asked the guide if they are ever moved to another place outside of their opening hours to sleep, bathe, walk around and just live, she said that they are just there day and night all the days of their lives. Sad and cruel and completely unnecessary.
