Ayung River rafting was one of the most enjoyable adventure experiences during our time exploring Bali. The journey took us through a beautiful tropical landscape surrounded by dense rainforest, towering cliffs, waterfalls and impressive stone carvings along the riverbanks. Experiencing this scenery from the water provided a completely different perspective of Bali and felt far removed from the island’s busy tourist areas. The rafting offered a great balance between excitement and enjoyment. There were plenty of rapids, splashes and moments of laughter, but we always felt safe and well supported by our guide. Clear instructions were provided before entering the water, and our guide’s experience, humour and knowledge added enormously to the day. The calmer sections of the river allowed us to appreciate the surrounding scenery, while the rapids kept the experience energetic and entertaining. Be prepared to get completely wet, as that is all part of the fun. The walk to and from the river involves a significant number of steps and can be physically demanding, particularly in Bali’s heat and humidity. Comfortable footwear with good grip is recommended, along with quick-drying clothes and a change of clothing for afterwards. Ayung River rafting was a fun combination of adventure, teamwork, beautiful scenery and plenty of laughter. Whether you are an experienced rafter or trying it for the first time, it is a memorable way to experience another side of Bali. An exciting and well-organised experience that we would highly recommend adding to a Bali itinerary. Disclosure: We visited independently and have no affiliation with this business. View on GoogleSuper fun! Well organized. They take care of you. Transport to the river, walk down a steep valley (stairs), rafting in small groups, your guide/captain makes sure you have a good time/experience. Lunch buffet is included (not beer and soft drinks).
View on GoogleNice place to have fun with group. I am here for a group package with IDR 250.000 for 3 games, paint ball - atv motorcycle - rafting and get a lunch. They have long time and short time rafting. The rafting challenge is average because we can still enjoy the water flow. But the view along riverside is amazing!
View on GoogleIf outdoor adventure is what you seek, this is a place to be! Went here for water rafting as a part of my solo trip, and it is one of the most memorable part of my trip. Professional and friendly rafting guide, easy water rafting course, and the unexpected stone carvings depicting Ramayana epic alongside the Ayung River is definitely a sight on its own. Not forgetting the scrumptious Balinese buffet lunch served after water rafting is definitely an added bonus. Do take note that to reach the starting point requires a rather lengthy walk downhill, and a much shorter yet still challenging hike at the end of the rafting to return to the reception center. Lockers are provided for free to store personal belongings, and shower facilities are also available at the reception center. Do book an earlier slots to avoid the intense tropical heat although the river itself is pretty much cool most of the time.
View on GoogleToekad Rafting provides a very exciting river wading experience. You will wade through the river for 2 hours for 10 km. Experienced boat guides will keep you safe. Many challenges at each river point and ended with a steep descent. it is highly recommended to choose Toekad Rafting as a place for you to navigate the Ayung river, Bali
