Amazing food and great prices. Everything we ordered was delicious, the portions were generous and the staff were friendly. Definitely one of the best restaurants we've tried in Bali. We would happily come back!

Best Ribs in Payogan ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We've become regulars at The Local Dude in Banjar Payogan, and for good reason! This little restaurant has quickly become our go-to lunch spot whenever we're in the Ubud area. The star of the show is definitely their barbecue ribs - absolutely incredible! The meat falls right off the bone and the flavor is outstanding. You can tell they put real care into their barbecue technique. What makes it even better is how reasonably priced everything is. In an area where tourist prices can get steep, The Local Dude offers exceptional value without compromising on quality. The staff here are genuinely wonderful - always welcoming with warm smiles and great service that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Their friendliness adds so much to the overall dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a casual lunch. Whether you're a local or visiting Ubud, The Local Dude is definitely worth seeking out in Banjar Payogan. We'll definitely keep coming back! Absolutely amazing, the foods the staff, the atmosphere. They are flexible with the menu and the prices are very good. Highly recommend!

Usually quiet with just one or two serving, the wait for your freshly prepared Balinese and Western food is well worth it. In air conditioning plus fan if you want, the chairs and tables are comfortable and the hand painted botanical mural on the wall adds to the nature-inspired atmosphere. We were stay in the area but it’s also worth a little trip out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Managed by the same family as Balinese Home Cooking across the road - another 5 star authentic place to dine.
