Fantastic food, great service from everybody, Sri especially, and awesome views. I highly recommend this stunning restaurant for a reasonably priced, authentic, Ubud experience. Especially the eggplant and tofu which I would not usually order as I generally dislike both. These guys made it the standout - hats off. Great value happy hour (amazing cocktails, 2 for IDR $150 between 4 and 6pm) Also a chef’s selection is on offer for 600 for 2 people which we didn’t get, but we still stuffed our faces and got dessert out of a necessity to try it, which didn’t disappoint. Thank you!

Had dinner here to celebrate an anniversary. I was blown away by how nice this place is. Initially I hoped to book a table with a nice view. However, after sunset (and due to a lot of rain) we couldn’t really see much of the valley. But don’t be discouraged, our indoor seat was just as nice. The interior of this place is really nice, music is just loud enough to draw out other tables’ chatting but allow for easy conversation. Food was exceptional, prepare for Indonesian tastes in the form of more western plating. Strong vegetarian options. Our favorite was the lobster-prawn croquettes starter. Staff is friendly and gladly assists in helping you order. Would only recommend.

We booked Indus for our anniversary dinner and WOW — we were absolutely blown away! ✨ From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The views overlooking Ubud were absolutely breathtaking, and the attention to detail and warm service from every staff member who looked after us made the evening feel extra special. 🤍 We started the evening with a couple of cocktails, and there was such a great selection to choose from! We then shared a few entrees, including the most delicious prawn toast — made with fresh prawns and packed with flavour. 🦐 For our mains, we chose the Twice Cooked Duck and Beef Rendang, and both were absolutely incredible. Each dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented and the portion sizes were so generous. And then came dessert… my favourite part! As a real sweet tooth, I was very happy with the most refreshing pavlova with fresh fruit and the chocolate mousse with cream, which was an absolute favourite of mine. 🍫🤤 To make our anniversary even more special, the team surprised us with two delicious pieces of chocolate slice as a little anniversary treat. Such a thoughtful touch and something we really appreciated! 🥰 If you’re looking for an unforgettable dinner with delicious food, exceptional service and breathtaking views over Ubud, Indus is definitely a must-visit! 🌿✨

One of my favourite meals of my recent trip to Bali! We walked in on the evening and were given a table in the covered area, which I thought was nicely decorated with stone artworks on the walls, marble tabletops, deep blue ceilings and mid century, comfortable dining chairs. The staff kindly offered us a terrace table when one became available but we declined as we liked the indoor setting and it was too dark to appreciate the view anyway. We began with cocktails - the cinammon mezcal cocktail was easily our favourite of the four we tried, it was absolutely delicious and I regretted not getting a second. Food wise, we opted for four starters, two mains and two sides with a dessert to share. Standouts were the prawn toast and pumpkin samosas to start, the beef rendang as a main with water spinach on the side, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. We probably over ordered as we were a bit full afterwards. But we enjoyed everything we ate! Service throughout the night was friendly and helpful, with all our questions about the menu answered. I would happily return and recommend Indus.

Very much enjoyed having lunch here, the view and the breeze are perfect to enjoy a Bali afternoon. The staff is friendly and offers good service, the cocktails are amazing and the food absolutely delicious. Balinese tradition with hints from here and there 😊 The place is beautiful and far from the street, you can eat quietly in a private atmosphere without the noise from the streets.
