Found this place on Google Maps with 5 stars on my last day in Ubud and I had to go try it. So glad I did! I had the ribs and they were insanely tender, fell right off the bone. Perfect with the rice, such a comforting and satisfying meal. The flavours were so authentic and delicious. Staff were super friendly too, made me feel so welcome even though I was there on my last day. Wish I found this place earlier! Highly recommend.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident, after taking a detour on our Campuhan Ridge walk. We decided to stop for an early lunch and I am so glad that we did. This truly is Balinese home cooking at a Balinese home. The owner chatted with us while his wife cooked our meal. He had a number of nice pieces of jewelry and other art for sale — good prices too. For lunch I had the Ayum Base Saur and my wife had the Mie Gorung. Both were excellent and perfectly spicy. Next time we are in Ubud we will make a point of coming back to this restaurant. It was our favorite meal of our entire trip.

We came across this family owned restaurant on a long walk north of Ubud. It was fantastic. I had the Mie Goreng - stir fried noodles with vegetables, chicken, chicken satay and fried egg. One of the best meals I have had during three weeks in Bali. My husband had Ayam Base Saur- a coconut chicken dish that was perfectly seasoned. Spicy but not too hot. We love this restaurant!

Very nice place with super tasty and authentic food. The vibes are immaculate with lots of trees and we had a chance to meet the kind owner too, Mr Ketut. He told us many things we were dying to know about Bali and offered some really helpful advice. Can’t recommend this enough!

Went here 4 times and had pork ribs at many other restaurants in town, but the Pork ribs here were definitely the best in town, and a highlight on their menu. The cassava chips were a nice touch and the spring rolls (lumpia) had had a lot of spring, and not a lot of roll👍. The desserts were all great too. The Owner and staff were friendly and it’s not directly on a road or an alleyway, so no noise or fumes. They quietly played the traditional relaxing music that locals play when they are cooking. The setting was cute and there is nice jungle landscaping next to the seating area.
