Amazing place - stunning scenery, very quiet but enough cafes in the area to choose from. Clean and spacious accommodation ( though not luxury if that’s what you’re after). Lots of spas in the area and a few upmarket hotels too if you fancy a posh cocktail. ||Staff at Klub Kokos are extremely friendly and helpful. Pool is lovely. A 20 minute walk along a ridge to bustling Ubud. Uphill on the way back so best not to do it in the midday sun. ||I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s like being in paradise.
View on GoogleProperty is atleast 40 min walk from Ubud market, and after 7 can’t be done through walk as there are no lights on the ridge . The rooms are good but lack basic facilities, no toiletries are provided other then small soaps for hand wash. No hot water is available. After showering all water enters the room. No food is available other then breakfast which is limited to bread omelettes. Ants and insects enters the rooms as the walls near the ceiling are covered by thin nets. No proper walls are built. Strange sounds comes at nights of insects and others from the roof as they are open. No charging points are available near the bed . We booked a 2 bedroom bungalow but it was only 2 rooms with one washroom with no space in the room to even keep a chair. Half of the lights in the rooms didn’t work. The price we paid for the room and the value we got ..in the same we could have booked a much better property. Last but not the least to go to Ubud market Taxi charges exorbitantly high prices as locals don’t allow online cabs to be booked. The positive point was staff was very welcoming and warm and would clean the rooms daily when requested. We stayed for 4 nights and on request room was cleaned and towels were changed .
View on GoogleThe hotel is good. It's outside Ubud. 30 minutes walking (nice walk) and also 30 minutes by taxi (€ 6). It has a nice pool. Room was ok. Not very modern, but very spacious. They have small playroom for the children and they placed a slide at the pool for our kids. Staff was very nice. After paying the bill I forgot my creditcard...The manager Kadek noticed and called me on my cell phone. We were already half hour away and he braught my creditcard on his scooter!
View on GoogleIt's not in the usual tourist areas but still close enough to Ubud to walk. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are helpful and attentive. The pool is large and inviting but the surrounds and deck chairs do need a little TLC. ||||The included breakfast can be pre-ordered the night before if you want but the meal is not prepared until you arrive at the restaurant in the morning. Other meals tend towards a little expensive by local standards. The food is good - but not great. There are a couple of other restaurants nearby but if you are on a budget it would be better to eat in Ubud.||||The big, big advantage of this hotel is it's location. It's just a little out of Ubud; on the outskirts of a small village with little traffic. However, it is uniquely situated at the top end of the Campuhan (pronounced 'charm-poo-hahn') Ridge walk; currently rated as the No.4 attraction in Ubud. The walk UP the ridge is strenuous but do-able for all but the very unfit. ||||Living at Klub Kokos you can always walk DOWN the hill into town in the morning (about 20 minutes) and then catch a taxi back (also 20 minutes or so as the taxi has to detour around the Campuhan Valley). It would be wise to have the hotel's card or brochure (with the phone number) to hand to the driver because not many know where it is. Or, you could always arrange transport through the hotel at a premium price.||||If you are looking for something a little out of the hustle and bustle this place is great, but be prepared for a little planning to organise trips into Ubud.
View on GoogleWe were passing by, it was beautiful, we thought to go in, we went in, the service was zero, it took a long time. We waited, I don't recommend even the garden, and we passed by.
