After walking all the way up from Ubud center, what a relief to sit there in the peaceful garden looking at the rice fields. Good local food, fresh fruits and cold beers, exactly what you need to relax, isn’t it ? And then next door is the spa, what a treat.
View on GoogleA peaceful sanctuary in Ubud! Karsa Kafe is pure serenity — surrounded by lush rice fields and lotus ponds, it’s the perfect escape into nature. The food is fresh and nourishing, and the setting feels like a gentle pause from the world. What makes this place truly special is that it’s part of a holistic experience — you can enjoy massages, Reiki sessions, and even stay at their on-site hotel for the ultimate wellness retreat. It’s ideal for anyone looking to unwind, reflect, or have a quiet holiday in nature. 🌸
View on GoogleAtmosphere is beautiful, but it's a bit of a tourist trap. Coffee and food is nothing special. It will cost 100k to get a lift to Ubud central, there are no GoJek (rideshare) allowed in this area) The staff claimed the WiFi didn't work
View on GoogleBeautiful place where you can sit on little islands or upstairs for a view of the rice paddies. Lovely drinks, served with a smile and very kind staff.
View on GoogleUnfortunately, for this beautiful location- they do have a rat problem. I saw this not once, but twice! We arrived 10 minutes before my spa appointment as I was looking forward to a coffee- but while waiting for it, saw a rat run up a post and over into the kitchen. I saw this again, much later in the day- after my spa experience. This must be a difficult issue to deal with, In an open air cafe environment next to rice fields. However, rodents in or around any kitchen is unacceptable. I recommend nobody dines here until they have found a solution to keeping the kitchen area hygienic.
