A perfect place to experience the beautiful rice paddies in Ubud. The owner is incredibly friendly, humble, and wise, making the visit even more memorable. It’s a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy nature. There isn’t a regular entrance to the fields—you’ll need to go through TIS café to access the area, but it’s well worth the visit.
View on GoogleVery beautiful and well-maintained rice fields. The staff are extremely friendly and are happy to explain and show what they do and how the fields are cultivated. I like that there are not many people and that you can take a relaxed walk among the fields and enjoy the surroundings.
View on GoogleThe owners are lovely; they explain everything and share their stories—it's really interesting. The rice paddies are beautiful, and you can even buy rice from them as a souvenir or to eat. They also sell drinks, so feel free to support them by buying something or making a donation. It's much better than places with lots of tourists. To get there, ask the locals; they'll guide you. Otherwise, you can get there via Tis Café and then follow the signs for "ricefield."🥰👌👌
View on GoogleMupu Rice Terrace is unreal — quiet, emerald layers with just the sound of water and wind. No crowds, no chaos. Just breathtaking, peaceful scenery. A dream spot for photos too. Wide landscapes, stunning backdrops, gorgeous golden hour light — every angle works here. Wear proper shoes though. The paths can be narrow and slippery. Come ready to explore and you’ll leave wanting to stay.
View on GoogleWe had an amazing and truly authentic experience here. The couple who own the rice field are incredibly kind and welcoming. She explained so much about rice cultivation, the land, and local life, which made the visit very special and meaningful. We even got the chance to cut coconuts ourselves (or she can do it for you), which was such a fun and unique experience. Her smile and positive attitude were honestly unforgettable. We also spent time talking with her husband, who shared great knowledge about plants and the local vegetation. You can really feel the connection they have with the place. They don’t charge any entrance fee, and they offer cold drinks at very reasonable prices. We highly encourage visitors to leave a donation — it’s absolutely worth it for such a unique and genuine experience. We also saw their cats and newborn kittens, which made everything even more memorable. If you’re looking for a real connection with local people and culture, this is a must. Honestly, it’s much better than the typical swing spots or Instagram places. Highly recommended. Thank you so much to this beautiful family 🙏
