Green Terrace Warung is one of those nice little spots you come across while exploring Tegallalang. The view is honestly the highlight of this place. Sitting there and looking out over the greenery and terraces feels calm and relaxing. It’s a great place to stop, take a break, enjoy the breeze, and soak in the surroundings. Definitely one of those places where you slow down and enjoy the moment. The restaurant itself is simple, clean, and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it doesn’t feel rushed at all. Perfect for a casual meal while enjoying the view. We tried the fried noodles with chicken, which felt like a proper local-style dish. The flavour was good and comforting. It wasn’t amazing, but definitely not bad either. The noodles were cooked well and filling. It was a little oily, but still enjoyable overall, especially if you like simple Indonesian-style food. We also ordered a small grilled fish, and this one really stood out. It was yummy, well cooked, and full of flavour. The fish was nicely grilled, soft inside, and tasted fresh. Like the noodles, it was also a bit oily, but the flavour made up for it. This was easily my favourite dish from the meal. One thing that really made the experience better was the service. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and checked in on us without being annoying. You could tell they genuinely cared, which always adds to the overall experience. What I liked most about Green Terrace Warung is the combination of good food, great service, and an amazing view. It may not be a place for fancy dining, but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed meal with a beautiful setting. It’s also a great stop if you’re already visiting Tegallalang or nearby attractions. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit at least once. Come for the view, enjoy some simple local food, and relax for a bit. I really enjoyed the peaceful vibe and would happily stop by again if I’m in the area. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby and want a casual, laid-back meal with a great view.
View on GoogleNice view over Tangalangan rice fields. Friendly staff. Good place for quite lunch.
View on GoogleImagine eating delicious Balinese cuisines with the amazing view of the terraces. This is exactly what you would experience when you dine it at Green Terrace Warung. It is perfectly situated on the side of the road facing the majestic terraces. The restaurant is huge and there are plenty of seating. The place is al fresco and they don't have an air-conditioned area, but the weather was nice and it wasn't hot when we visited (August 2023). The food and drinks here are inexpensive. My most recommended dish is the dried duck, it was so savory and crunchy. Get a refreshing glass of avocado juice too. They have free WiFi and guests with car may park in front of the warung.
View on GoogleThe first thing you pick up on is how nice the vibe is here. You are sitting above the rice field where the rice comes from that will be served on your plate. Awesome and great to reconnect with your food. Service here is excellent and very accommodating. I ordered the sate with seafood (shrimp), mango juice, and fried banana without ice cream because of lactose intolerance. They offered to give me more banana in place. And they put less sugar in my mango juice. A bonus they have wifi and you can pay to swing as well.
View on GoogleGreat view of the rice terraces. Big restaurant but prices are around 3 times Ubud city. Be prepared to pay $100000 for fried noodle and $30000 for a coke. Some food is good and other is not. Luck of the draw. Nice place but overpriced.
