Pangkon Bali Resto & Agrotourism feels very much geared toward tourists, and the menu reflects that. The food wasn’t bad, but for me it leaned quite mild and didn’t have the kind of flavor I was hoping for. I can see why some visitors might enjoy it more than I did, especially if they prefer familiar tourist-style dishes.

Gorgeous views of the rice fields with the farmers working them and sound of rushing water flowing from the canal by our table. We chose the restaurant for the lack of tourist vans out front. Some locals in scooters were also dining. Our driver and his son ate with us. It was their first time there and they liked the food. I had the Pangkon with duck. Not my usual meal of choice but it didn't disappoint. Everyone was happy with their choice. Fresh, enough spice, quality ingredients. Service was quick, pleasant, efficient; clean toilets, plenty of parking. Open air so bring bug spray and there will be flies. Being in the area where tourists abound, I'd say the prices were normal. It's funny when people go eat in a Balinese restaurant and order Western food then complain about the taste. Salty or bland seems to be an issue of perspective.

We had lunch here on the way to the nearby temple complex. We were pleasantly surprised by the stunning view of the rice fields. Make you have a table at the back side to have the best experience. I enjoyed the Personal Pangkon so I could taste a bit of everything the Balinese kitchen has to offer. Along side I had a fresh Guave dragonfruit juice. Yummy. If you like continental food, they have enough options. The service was normal, staff was friendly and they didn't mind if you change your dish.

Pangkon Bali Resto & Agrotourism offers a beautiful and authentic Balinese dining experience surrounded by lush rice fields and peaceful countryside scenery. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature while dining. The traditional architecture and open-air seating create a charming village feel. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-presented, with a great selection of local Balinese and Indonesian dishes. The agrotourism area adds a unique touch, allowing visitors to experience Bali’s natural beauty and rural culture in one place. The staff are warm, attentive, and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. A wonderful spot in Bali for scenic dining, local cuisine, and a serene escape from busy tourist areas. Highly recommended.

Chicken burger & club sandwich okay, bolognaise not so good…. The Indonesian menu & milkshakes is where it’s at!!!! Delicious!!! Check out the rice terraces a short walk away… the owners of the 1st home along the path have a little shop & their hospitality is next level…. One of the farmers showed us a short cut back to the coffee plantation (the main road) avoiding climbing back up the hill… very authentic experience, one of our favourites! The people are so nice there!!!! (There’s a little cafe also) don’t forget to make a donation!
