Warung Sederhana is one of the best places to enjoy Indonesian food, especially Javanese cuisine. The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. They have a pretty wide variety of dishes, but unfortunately, the sambal options are limited and don't offer much variety.

🌿 Wa Rung Sederhana – A Cozy Flavor Stop in Bali 🌿 Okay, let’s be honest — this isn’t the cleanest or most stylish spot in town. It’s more of a “come for the food, not the vibe” kind of place. The plastic chairs may wobble a bit, and the walls have seen better days… but the flavors? Oh, they sing! The owner proudly displays a sign saying “Indonesian, Chinese, and European Food,” and guess what? He really means it! A delicious melting pot of tastes, all in one menu. We’re a traveling family — 2 adults, 2 kids — and we usually end up ordering 5 dishes just to keep the peace at the table! 😅 The portions are on the smaller side, but they seem to be the “Bali-regular” size, not the “tourist-stuffed” kind, which we actually appreciated. It made it easier to try more variety without waste! 💡 Family Tip: Try a mix of Indonesian and Chinese dishes — balance the fried rice with something saucy or soupy.

A simple place to eat, but with a wide variety of authentic Indonesian dishes. The food tastes great, and the prices are affordable—perfect for everyday meals.

I really enjoyed the food here👌👍 So much choices of local indonesian food ready to eat. You can choose (and pay accordingly) whatever you want by yourself. Tahu, tempe, eggs, chicken, fish, vegetables.. etc. All in good local prices.. Highly recommended for some true local food experience, will come back again for more😊
